Babies are born already addicted to commonly prescribed drugs. Children as young as 5 have committed suicide on one of the serotonin affecting antidepressants. The elderly are especially prone to psychiatric drug abuse. 77% of prescriptions written for nursing home residents in the US are tranquilizers. 

A 1995 study on psychotropic drug use found more than 58% of nursing home residents taking these drugs. A powerful multi-billion dollar psycho-pharmaceutical industry has grown up around this psychiatric menace. Again, the target is the brain and the suppression of certain functions. It is simply pharmaceutical psycho-surgery.

(a brain operation without a scalpel) The side effects are horrendous although they are seldom explained to patients. The drugs so damage the nervous system that extensive use can cause the patient’s tongue to loll about uncontrollably and the body extremities to twitch violently. 

This condition known as dyskinesia is iatrogenic (physician induced) Typically, these side effects are diagnosed by psychiatrists as further evidence of mental illness.
