THE MOST HATED TRUTH: GOD'S TRUTHS

Plato: "No one is more hated than he who tells the truth" ......Especially God's truths....

God's Word spread exposes the darkness of people's words and actions. They don't want to be exposed as "bad," so they attack back using every weapon of the devil to smear and demean the truth teller, even using twisted wording to make the truth teller appear as the bad one, and they themselves as the "enlightened" victim.

That is how Satan uses his taken over and over. Once that soul chooses to walk away from God, Satan always takes his place. The poor soul thinks they are in charge of their choices and words and deeds alone. No, the tempter has entered their heart and mind and overtakes them. Satan eases in at first but once let in, he consumes a soul.

Be not deceived thinking you have it all under control without God's protection. That's Satan's lie to get in and destroy you. His cunning and deceptive army around you is always relentless in stealing your entire soul from you.... a slave, a soul chained and drugged by evil, yet they still proclaim, "I don't need God. I'll do it my way." THAT'S THE SELF-ABSORBED LIE SATAN HAS THEM BELIEVE: no, they are never alone, for the soul taker of darkness, the power of darkness, not flesh but dark spirit, overtakes them when God's barriers are torn down.

Ole Satan's a LIAR, folks, a talented, convincing, charming liar who knows exactly where your vulnerabilities are, where your "walls" are weak, where you opened the doors of your heart and mind making choices that God warned would create consequences that would not be good for you, your life, and those around you. It's a spiritual battle raging for you.... God in divine love who warns and lets you choose..... then Satan who connives and deceives to separate you from your Creator and Heavenly Father, making you think you don't need God and your own way is best.

God's truths are sure and firm and filled with His love unceasing. Satan's lies are your destruction, for his only goal is to separate you from your Heavenly Father God before Jesus returns and takes him to hell. Satan wants you with him and not with God. That's a truth with daily consequences, and yes, eternal consequences.

GOD VERSUS WORLD: NOT JUST A COIN TOSS

Who created and made your child? It was the Almighty, All-knowing God of Heaven's Armies.

God chose to make that child a male or female. God is Holy. To truly understand the magnitude and awesomeness of God Almighty makes one clearly understand that the gender God intended for a child IS A MALE OR FEMALE, MADE BY GOD. That was God's decision, and God does not make mistakes.

God gave parents that child as His gift, for parents to raise, direct, and teach "in the way he or she should go." His Word instructs parents, and they are to instruct their children in God's teachings and Way.

The voices of sinful humans on earth want you to follow what they say is "true." These false voices come with high degrees, high profile jobs, some wearing lab coats, some with "Dr." before their names, some with high paying jobs, and even some wearing robes and collars around their necks. They are even labeled "experts." Their sinful-natured counter-parts in the media parade them before the cameras and in front of you giving you their ungodly messaging about altering one's sexual choice, connecting it to "genetic preference." The sinful-natured university researchers tell you this and that study shows homosexual or transgender choices are not "free choices" at all..... That it is inherit in their genetic build up to want to CHANGE their sexual identity. Understand this: WHAT ONE DOES AS A CAREER DOES NOT TELL YOU WHAT KIND OF PERSON THEY ARE, WHAT CHARACTER THEY HAVE, WHERE THEIR HEARTS ARE ALIGNED. The "taken" use their positions, especially high profile positions, to lure your choices against God, to tell you to make your own choices, to lead you down into sin.

You must understand WHO GOD IS and what the ungodly will do against God. Satan uses anyone he can "steal" to steal others away from God and His Way. His destruction of soul and separation of you from your Creator is his goal. His favorite weapon is DECEPTION AND LIES. Satan has an army of deceivers and liars who have risen in America and who have spread their tentacles throughout every vein in America to influence your thinking away from living and honoring what God says and to influence you to TURN AWAY AND DO WHAT YOU WANT, WHAT THEY TELL YOU IS ALRIGHT, WHAT THEY TELL YOU THAT YOU "DESERVE" TO BE HAPPY. Oh the lies and twisted words of Satan's taken tongues to deceive and pull you into choosing a way that leads to utter unhappiness and destruction. Unless you are filled with God, you will seek and knock and ask others instead of SEEKING, KNOCKING AND ASKING GOD FOR HIS WAY IN YOUR LIFE ALONE.

Do you think what God makes is a "mistake?" You think The Creator of all makes mistakes? God's created children have choices, choices to follow all sin's temptations and paths or REBUKE AND REJECT THEM, whether it is to steal, lie, kill or choose a sexual lifestyle that goes against what God created a person to be and follow.

KNOW WHO GOD IS. Know who Satan is and know who his sinful messengers are among you, presented as all-knowing experts. ARE YOU GOING TO FOLLOW THEM OR GOD YOUR CREATOR? Do not be fooled by society's elevated humans who use their positions to lead you to sin by their lies fed from their "earthly thrones." BEWARE OF SEEING GOD AS JUST "ONE SIDE OF A COIN" with the other side of sinful-natured voices just as important. GOD is ALL TRUTH AND LOVE. Sinful humans can lead you to deposit your soul in hell, no matter their title, education, job, status. They want you with them in eternal hell. THEY ARE WORLDLY. GOD IS THE GREAT "I AM."

PLEASE BE WISE AND DISCERNING. Many false lights are roaming like a devouring lion among you today in America. 

Understand the extent their tongues will go to TRAP YOUR THINKING. Deception and lies are NOTHING TO THEM. Their consciences are dead, and their hearts are stone. They have no bad feelings for their lies or deception.... ONLY GAINING FOR SELF and will say and do just about anything at this point to get it. 

WHEN EVIL IS IGNORED AND NOT CALLED OUT OR STOPPED, IT GROWS. IT TAKES MANY. IT FOOLS MANY. IT TAKES MANY INTO DESTRUCTION. 

Don't be fooled by clever, cunning tongues of deception, NO MATTER WHOSE MOUTH IT COMES OUT OF. Americans have become idolaters of mere humans simply because of their position, title, education or wealth. 

Do not forget. Satan was once one of God's angels. The first rebel seeks to steal you away from God and His truths. His lies are meant to steal you from God. It is ALL he can do for he KNOWS HIS TIME IS SOON OVER.

Shouldn't you have the same firmness in your foundation for God that Satan has to take you away from Him? 

You should recognize the REAL FIGHT EVERY MOMENT for your soul NOW. You have an enemy who deceives, who knows your vulnerabilities, who knows your weaknesses and who knows just when to insert his lies to have you choose the wrong way and lead you more and more down into your destruction.

BE CLEAR. SATAN HAS TAKEN MANY AMONG US IN AMERICA WHO WORK FOR DESTRUCTION. They use "tongues of angels" but their hearts are of the devil.

DID GOD WIN?

Did God win?





When you made that choice, did God win?




When you made that choice about your words or your response to someone, did God win?




Or was it more important that you rose to the self-built platform and received your earthly trophy of dominance? 

When you were wronged, did you react in revenge for your own satisfaction or DID GOD WIN in your response? Was your response representative of a servant heart that glorifies God and gives Him the glory or did it elevate your own "high five" with yourself as the "winner?" 

Be careful. Your responses produce consequences. You may see yourself as "washed in the blood," but your choices as a human being in this fallen world STILL may lead you into your own sinful-natured way and away from God into the consequences of your choices. You are human. Your nature is still sinful. It is important to realize how easy it can be to make the SELF CHOICE AND FORGET GOD'S VOICE.

Does this stir up situations in your own life that bring to focus those you have hurt or wronged in revenge or anger or hurt? Are you remembering them and those things you said or that hurt them by your own choices toward them? Do you see the hurt you brought onto another by your own "hand?" Do not resist these truths about your own behavior and choices. Take them now to the altar of God in repentance. Carry them no more. Lay them there, as God calls you to do ....and go heal the wounds you left on another. First, as God says, go make your peace. Then He will accept your offerings to Him. You may have pushed these past actions or words out of your mind, but they have never left the weight of your soul. Carry them quickly to your Lord, repent of your actions that hurt another, heal the hurts on others, and seek His forgiveness and that of the ones you hurt. The one you hurt needs to hear of your forgiveness and be "washed" in your words of cleansing.

Rise up to another level of spiritual maturity in self-control and guarding your choices going forward. Make the advancement of the Kingdom of God be the race you run. Let those around you, those you love, those who may be lost, or those who you feel have wronged you, always see the light of God in you in this "race journey" we have on this earth.  Before you react to another person, before you judge, before you seek to reject or rebuke, STOP, and make sure your reaction IS A WIN FOR GOD, NOT YOUR OWN TROPHY SHELF. 

Sound harsh? Understand. Your enemy the devil oozes his temptations into your heart and mind unceasingly. He never stops. He never sleeps. His only goal is for your destruction.... for your company with him in hell and away from your loving Father. Satan knows his destination. He'll do all he can to lure you into paths of anger, revenge, bitterness and hate. Once you walk away from God's Way, he'll suck out your whole soul and use you to hurt and destroy others. All Satan has is to steal your soul from God. All he needs is your spirit of light to go into the darkness with him. He seeks to shut off your light, your reflection of the light of God. 

Satan knows this oh so well.... Jesus has already won! Jesus is already victorious! Satan knows this. Satan knows his time is short. Resist the temptations to go down the road to destruction. Run the race for the Kingdom of God. Don't leave your Father's Word and Way, but when you do and recognize your fall, QUICKLY GO TO YOUR FATHER AND REPENT. Right the wrongs you may have done to another and grow in humility and service that pleases the Lord and advances His Kingdom on earth. 

Run the race for the Kingdom. You win when God is first place beside you.

GOD HAS TOLD YOU, O MAN.....

God...... Holy, powerful God......HIM or the voices of mere humans who seek to CHANGE what he calls bad and call it good..... who feed guilt in your hearts to convince you that you should do what they call good......who push their rules over the WORD OF GOD, many even from the pulpits of "churches."

The Pharisees remain generation after generation because Satan has never stopped consuming hearts and minds away from God.

HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT GOD WANTS FROM YOU????

Are your reading your "life book?" THE BIBLE.

Are you in the Lord's textbook for wisdom and discernment in living?

Do you get quiet and still and listen for His voice? Do you have conversations with Him in prayer and praise? Or do you just care about what your fellow human thinks of you and only listen to them and do it their changed way??????

Is human rejection elevated over obedience to God?

ARE YOU TOO PRIDEFUL TO ADMIT YOUR WRONGS TO YOURSELF, TO OTHERS, AND TO GOD?

Does your earthly reputation mean more than your eternal destination?

Do you elevate your own self over who God wants you to be in Him?

Child of God, if you choose to follow the ways of sinful men who trick and lie and deceive, you will meet with destruction NOW and eternally. In addition, your choices effect people around you now and eternally.... for generations and generations.

Satan tells you your obedience to God is being chained in His prison and won't allow you to be happy. Satan tells you that YOU know best for your life, that YOU deserve what makes you happy and content. NOTHING HAS CHANGED IN SATAN'S TACTICS SINCE THE GARDEN OF EDEN...dangling the poison fruits as "good," and if chosen, only lead to pain, hurt, emptiness, loneliness, and a lost life in darkness.

Why is the story of Jesus called "THE GOOD NEWS?" This is why. To offer you ALWAYS love and repentance and entry into God's family or cleansing in the blood with a repentant heart when we fall. BECAUSE SIN IS WITHIN, TO BE BEFORE A HOLY GOD, WE NEED THE BLOOD OF CHRIST TO COVER US, TO CLEANSE US.

CHOOSE YOUR MASTER WISELY. The consequences now and eternally are your free choice.

BEWARE THE DECEIVERS --- BEHOLD THE GLORY OF GOD

America is changing......too many Americans elected leaders who are making the changes. Are you SURE these changes will help us..... or harm us? It is an important question you should contemplate, especially as elections come around.
WHERE DO YOUR BLESSING COME FROM? WHERE IS YOUR ALLEGIANCE? WHO IS YOUR "MASTER?" Are you placing worldly idols above the God of Heaven's Armies? Consequences of wrong choices are real. Real people get hurt. Real people get lost. Will you stand on the Rock of Ages today or the crumbling sinkhole of evil, sinful men and women calling America's change "good?"

Clear eyes and a clear head see and hear the screams of hurting people, the lost souls being devoured, the lawless gaining power over the vulnerable and weakened. Evil is rising with impostors presenting themselves as "good" or for your good. Evil charms, twists, deceives, and uses people it has taken in high positions to fool more and more. If you place a group, a political party, a color of skin, a gender, or your own opinions over THE GOOD OF ALL, OVER JUSTICE FOR ALL, OVER YOUR GOD-GIVEN GIFTS OF FREEDOM FROM RULERS, then you give EVIL power over you and MANY OTHERS. Pride does come before a fall, and the CHANGERS ARE GIVEN POWER by your choices.

Proven evil groups, some described as a "religion" who vow to hurt and kill others, who have proven they mean what they say, whose past history proves they are going to do what they say, ARE BEING ALLOWED INTO AMERICA.... ARE BEING GIVEN THE WELCOME MAT BY OUR OWN GOVERNMENT. There is a mass influx of evil and our enemies happening now in America, and your government who took an oath to protect and defend this nation, ARE IGNORING THEIR OATHS OF OFFICE, even their oaths taken to God.

Evil lies, Americans. Let in and given power, it only lies more, and as their power grows and your freedoms and rights are removed, they will have to lie to you less and less. And, without your right to bear arms and with their massive armed military and force, they can CUT YOU COMPLETELY OUT AND DO WHATEVER THEY CHOOSE, NO MATTER WHO GETS HURT OR KILLED. You give your allegiance to sinful men and women who fool you with twisted messaging and lie to you to gain power, you will receive the fruits of evil. When you give your allegiance to your Heavenly Father God, and receive the fruits of the Spirit into your heart, and guide your every choice and decision on honoring Him, your consequences are blessings, peace and joy..... THINGS THE FALLEN WORLD CAN NEVER SUSTAIN FOR YOUR SOUL. Fallen men and women forever move among us, forever navigate you away from God, forever deceive, AND ONLY SEEK YOUR DESTRUCTION.
Be very clear about YOUR choices and their consequences. You will "live" them, and you feed good or evil. NOT ONLY WILL YOU BE EFFECTED, BUT YOUR DECISIONS CREATE A GRAND RIPPLE EFFECT THAT COMES TO OTHERS. Do not underestimate evil's power over you, its power to produce a cunning, charming, very convincing message to your soul, right into your weaknesses and vulnerabilities. GOD TELLS YOU TO PUT ON THE FULL ARMOR OF HIM FOR THIS REASON. Who you choose to bow to and place over you produces a life of blessing or destruction. Beware the deceivers. Behold the glory of God!

Time to Return America to God

This nation has fallen far because Godless government “officials” and the minions of satan have removed the Hand of God from the reins and have told Him He is no longer welcome in the public forum. They have done this while Christians sat back not wanting to “offend” those who get offended any time they don’t get their way unopposed, like a 2 year old throwing a fit when told “NO”!! It is time for Christian citizens to reverse this trend and invite God back into the driver seat of our nation. With this in mind I wrote these three articles: This nation was not established as a theocracy but WAS established as a representative republic FOUNDED on biblical principles. George Washington stated that the Constitution would only work for a good and moral people. All of our major laws can be linked directly to the Ten Commandments given to Moses on Mt. Sinai.

THE CHANGER'S STAMPEDE OF DESTRUCTION

We're watching the change of America, what Obama told us he was going to do.... "fundamentally transform America."

Once, God was held above all, above all things, above all people.  His Way, Truth and Life was the template for One Nation Under God.  Individual freedom and rights apart from government intervention was our birthing and sustainment.  The government rulers were to uphold the laws and protections for all citizens, to serve them as guardians of their freedoms, to maintain the power of WE THE PEOPLE.

We bowed to God to honor Him in our living, our choices, our interactions.  We sought God's direction for our nation and received His blessings in so doing.  We taught our children and grandchildren to honor God, directing their paths "in the way they should go." And, we were thankful for our blessings and the children God gave us.... and obedient in our choices as we held God above all things and people.

Today, instead of knees bowed to God, hands are open or fists are clenched demanding their self-righteous calls for whatever they deem right and good and deserving.  Happiness of immediate needs and wants overrides consequences, their own or how it effects others.  The Word of God has been tossed aside and replaced with "all is good if it makes me happy."

Government has been infiltrated with ungodly hearts who influence citizens to "have it their way," and that "all deserve their rights."  Oh, the twisted language of the pretenders who claim to "care and help" all, but who lead people away from God and into their traps of dominating mindsets.  Included is their targeting of those who do not go along with THEIR CHANGE.  Included are the word choices that influence hate, violence and division among us.

Now we are taxed and regulated to extremes by our leaders who then use our tax dollars to benefit THEIR CHANGES.  Friends and those who advance their CHANGES receive tax dollar "help." Those who do not are stonewalled by the IRS in attaining their rightful and lawful designations in tax coding.

And after seven years of democratic rule, where are we?  Do they defend life, defend law and justice for all, defend and protect the Constitution and Bill of Rights for all? Are we kept strong in our military and defense for our nation's protection? Is our debt contained?  Are our people working?

No matter what the rulers of today are "called," what are the leaders of this country doing?  Are we united, lawful, secure, justice for all, protected and defended by our leaders?  Do they serve our needs or their change? Is that change hurting our nation or helping the sustainibility of this nation?

Are our knees bowed to God over men or have citizens proclaimed mere men their idols, following after their way for their life?  Seeking their own advancements with the change instead of pursuing the good of all and the sustainment of our nation?  The leaders of America today mount for their "rides" into the sunset of power, domination and control.  God is being removed from sight and mind and ear so that people only listen to THEIR WAY.  They are CHANGING what God said is bad and calling it "good."  God told us these times would come.  They are HERE NOW.

When your leaders can take your tax dollars and give them to Planned Parenthood to rip out live babies in the womb and rip up their bodies into pieces and then sell body pieces for its own profit .... and those leaders call THIS GOOD AND RIGHT, then you  no longer have leaders who value life, that unborn child OR YOURS.  Profit and power rule their hearts, and they hand out little "favors" to keep the fooled and ignorance shadowing their every word and deed.

Once we had leaders who lived to "dismount" and fall on their knees to God Almighty.  Today, we have high-nosed, arrogant, self-elevated leaders who mount their steeds for the POWER RIDE FOR SELF.  Unless we once again become united for our individual freedoms and rights FROM government rule, and form a posse in rebellion to their takeover, their army of riders will only continue to grow, and the change of America will be eminent and secured.  Once freedoms and rights of each individual are TAKEN AWAY and citizens become servants, WE ARE THE DUST BEATEN AND SWIRLED as they trample on us from their high horse of rule and power OVER US.

Unless we return as One Nation Under God, united in obedience to Him, and dismount these traitorous riders from their charging stampede over our nation, the evil riders will intensify the storm and America's avalanche will be certain.  Already the damage of their deceit is cracking our firm foundation that was birthed by our Founding Fathers.  Soon, if not stopped, the avalanche will come and devour lives and our beloved America.

Be still my soul, be still and know that I am God.  Be still, be quite, just be for a moment and let life resolve itself around you.  Sit and do nothing, let your spirit speak above the din and commotion that is our life, let our spirits sour through that silence within our minds.

Turn of the iPods, turn off the TV’s tune out from the harshness of continuous cacophonous noise and allow you to be heard.  We have a lot to say to ourselves, all we have to do is listen.  With all the clamor and clatter around us our own thoughts are lost, our minds our drowning in the ever present sound and unceasing decibels.  Be still my soul, sit still, meditate over the conflagrations of our world and the dangers that surround us.   

As a child and even today I try to sit and listen, tune out the freeway noise, the screaming kids, the lawnmowers and sirens blaring, listening to the under sounds, the natural resonances that make up our world.  The birds, the crickets, (expect those that escaped from our bearded chameleon and have set up shop behind the curio cabinet) the rustling of leaves from the gentle breeze, a faraway cry of a hunting falcon, these are the sounds that relax, that turn us inward and allow us to hear what really needs to be heard.

As technology expands so does our use of those devises and with an increased use of media comes a decrease in civility, sociability, a general loss of connectedness that is causing some serious psychological issues.   These advances are essential to our future but they must be metered and monitored, used in moderation.  

While visiting Sea World I noticed groups of individuals sitting close to each other but each in a solitary bubble of texting, searching or talking, ignoring the real persons within touching distance, ignoring the facial expressions of communication and focusing intently on the task of connecting to another faceless person as if they were afraid to simply turn and see the smiles or frowns, the joys and sorrows of those in need, including themselves. 

The recent bombings in Boston bring to mind the need to reflect and redirect our efforts toward connecting with those around us.   A moment of silence is appropriate, but let’s extend that silence to include the needs of all those who are in despair, all those who are wanting and in need.  Can you imagine a world if everyone simply stopped, turned around and looked at their neighbor, looked and really felt the needs of each other, if only for a moment, if the world could stop and reset its humanity what would the results look like?

When was the last time you stopped?  When was the last time you simply sat down and let the natural sounds of life enter our soul?  Be still my soul, be quite, be alive in the understanding of the secrets of life only revealed though our meditative solitude.  

Be still and listen to the needs of others without your voice or noise, let your mind work out the complexities of this complicated world and be comforted in knowing that your soul is listening and learning through that reverence.

Thanksgiving: Remembering The God America Forgot

In an interview last week on a Christian radio talk show, the final question the host asked me was: “What are you thankful for?” The first thing out of my mouth was “Freedom in America.” I have to admit, my own response caught me off guard. In the past, I would have listed a dozen things I’m thankful for, starting with God, family, and friends; but many of us understand that things are changing in the country we love, and we better stop taking our God-given freedoms for granted.

This week, Franklin Graham boldly stated America is in the quagmire we’re in because we have turned our backs on God. I agree with his assessment; though the Democratic Party as a whole has removed God from their platform, Republican leaders and candidates have not been mentioning our need as a nation to ask the Most High God for help. Graham stated, “The more we turn our backs on God, the bigger our problems become.”

About a hundred and fifty years ago, Presi­dent Abraham Lincoln recognized what he believed was God’s hand of judgment on America “for our national perverseness and disobedience.” People were falling away from God, and Lincoln declared the first national “Day of Thanksgiving and Praise.” In his 1863 Thanksgiving proclamation, he stated:

We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of Heaven. We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and pros­perity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power, as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. …We have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeem­ing and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us! It behooves us then, to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.

In 2012, America seems even less grateful. We need to remember God never changes, and He is not surprised that we’ve chosen culture over Christ. We have conformed to the world instead of influencing our godless culture.

We have steadily abandoned the morals and principles that once made us great. Those who oppose God have assaulted the American family, attacked Christians, rewritten our history, and have eroded the foundations of our liberty. Because of our own apathy combined with this anti-Christian agenda, we are reaping the consequences.

Many of us were shocked four years ago when Americans elected the most liberal, secular-progressive president in our history. We could hardly imagine surviving four years of policies that threaten our religious and economic freedoms, support anti-biblical causes, disrespect Israel, and irresponsibly increase federal spending; but here we go again. America has not yet been brought to her knees.

Four years is a vapor. To the Lord, one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day (2 Peter 3:8). Up to now, God has been patient. We must cultivate hearts of gratitude and understand how good He has been to us. We still have so much to be thankful for in America. Look around the world, and it won’t take long to recognize despite our flaws and apathy, we live in an exceptional country.

Because of the faith of our founders and their vision for this country, America has done more for the world, including needy countries, than any nation on earth. We are a compassionate people. American churches and charities have reached out to countless souls world-wide; and in our short history, the Gospel of Jesus Christ has reached millions because of the United States.

Let’s remember the God we have forgotten.

Battling the elements and the challenges of living in a new land, the Pilgrims made many more graves than huts; and yet these brave pioneers thanked Almighty God by setting aside a day of Thanksgiving! This is the American spirit. The Bible teaches us to give thanks in every circumstance as the testing of our faith produces endurance.

It’s easier to thank God when times are good; but trusting His sovereignty, we are to find joy and be grateful at all times. “Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Thanksgiving isn’t a time to be busy and distracted with planning, shopping, or feeling obligated to buy presents; it’s a time to humbly lift our hands to the One who is always faithful and promises to provide all our needs. It is a time to analyze and evaluate our priorities and get right with God if we have personally strayed from Him. It is a time to encourage others to cry out to God for mercy and to save America from self-destruction.

John Adams once stated that “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

Let’s get back to the basics of faith, family, and freedom; back to loving King [Jesus] and Country. We still live in a beautiful land, and we have much to be thankful for: “O beautiful for heroes proved in liberating strife. Who more than self their country loved and mercy more than life! America! America! God shed his grace on Thee …”

Trust the Lord that you and I are here for such a time as this. We can be thankful His love for us and His purposes haven’t changed.

Giving a presentation to a battle-weary Tea Party audience in Wisconsin a few days ago, I reminded them how we have strayed from our faith and conservative principles. I concluded by saying if our hope is in people, politics, or possessions, we will always be disappointed. If however, our hope is in Jesus Christ, if He is our Lord and Savior, then our perspective can be one of gratitude no matter what is happening around us. Happy Thanksgiving!

“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever; …But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Psalm 106:1, 1 Cor. 15:57)
