Lots of chirping about this on social media even though it’s an online poll and appears to be a survey of adults, not likely voters. But what the heck, I’ll blog it. The trend, at least, is interesting.

Urges a Bill Protecting ‘Religious Rights’ 

Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson urged Congress to pass legislation guaranteeing “religious rights” for all Americans in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s decision on gay marriage.

Carson, a retired neurosurgeon, said the court “essentially” changed the definition of marriage, which has worked well for “thousands of years.”

African American neighborhoods are demarcated with blue dots, while the Hispanic Latino neighborhoods are represented by red dots.

According to 2010 Centers for Disease Control data, “non-Hispanic white women and non-Hispanic black women accounted for the largest percentages of abortions (36.8% and 35.7%, respectively).”

Breitbart did the math thusly: 6.6 percent of the population are non hispanic black women, but they account for over 35 percent of abortions performed.

Now look at that map again. It’s easy to understand why.

Dr. Ben Carson on Friday apologized to Johns Hopkins University for “poorly chosen” comments he made last week in which he seemed to compare gay relationships to pedophilia and bestiality.
