Michael Brown Family Feud--Attacking Eachother....

After the facts came out,we discovered that Michael Brown was definitely NOT a "gentle giant".

It seems as though a violent streak runs in the family.

Of course, the MSM has been completely silent since Ferguson has reportedly "calmed down". The truth is that it has not calmed down and the demonstrations, in some cases outright riots, have been occurring. The Ferguson police are preparing for all-out war should Darren Wilson not be indicted.source  

It appears that the race mongers and the DOJ have unleashed an ugly ogre who simply refuses to go back into his cage upon command. Yes, the situation in Ferguson is almost beyond control. There are also routine demonstrations, some violent, in St. Louis. If Wilson is not indicted, the chaos could spread well beyond Missouri. 

Perhaps nationwide chaos is the ultimate plan so as to suspend the Constitution, bring on martial law, and set the groundwork for a police state.

Or, maybe the Powers That Be stupidly thought they could continually stoke the engine of hate to their own political advantage with no adverse repercussions. 

Either way, let us all pray that rational thought will prevail, good people will refuse to jump into the pit of mayhem, and that the fabric of this nation will not be ripped apart across racial lines.

Ferguson Family Feud: Michael Brown’s Mom and Posse Shut Down Grandma’s Business, Assault Cousin With Metal Pipe, and Steal $1400

Like many Americans, and media sources, I stopped paying a lot of attention to the happenings in Ferguson just as soon as it looked like Officer Darren Wilson was likely justified in the shooting of Michael Brown. The courts may decide differently, but from my perspective it looks like Brown was a thug and the officer more than likely acted in self-defense.

But new reports have emerged of an incident that was reported to have happened last weekend.

It appears that Brown’s mother, Lesley McSpadden, showed up at a make-shift vendor’s booth that was selling Michael Brown merchandise. The interesting part is that the merchandiser was Brown’s grandmother and Grandma was being assisted by one of Brown’s cousins.

Someone with McSpadden allegedly assaulted the cousin, Tony Petty, with “a metal pipe or pole” and then left with an estimated $1,400.   continue reading

The Citizenry And The Police Cannot Afford To Be Enemies With Eachother

Congress under pressure from left and right to 'demilitarize' police

People had long ago begun to fear the militarization of our  domestic police. Perhaps the incidents in Ferguson MO have served as an eyeopener in how not to handle certain situations. Yes, action needs to be taken against opportunistic looters and thugs, but the rights of legitimate protesters also need to be respected.  Granted, that can be a tricky line to walk.
Perhaps better community relations can be established by reaching out to community leaders and maintaining constant contact with the public in peaceful as well as difficult situations. The majority of the community did not condone the rioting and looting, but they were also appalled by the appearance of the police as well as by their actions when the situation heated up. There must be a better way.

From The Hill: "Groups on the left and right are uniting behind calls to end what they say is the rise of a "militarized" police force in the United States.They say the controversial police tactics seen this week in Ferguson, Mo., are not isolated to the St. Louis County police department and warn the rise of heavily armed law enforcement agencies has become an imminent threat to civil liberties.
“What we're seeing today in Ferguson is a reflection of the excessive militarization of police that has been happening in towns across America for decades,” said Kara Dansky, senior counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).
The ACLU is aligned with Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and groups on the right who are calling for an end to a controversial Defense Department program that supplies local police departments with surplus military equipment, such as armored tanks, machine guns, and tear gas.
According to the Defense Logistics Agency, more than $4 billion in discounted military equipment has been sold to local police departments since the 1990s.
“Why are those guns available to the police?” asked Erich Pratt, spokesman for the conservative Gun Owners of America. “We don't technically have the military operating within our borders, but they're being given the gear to basically operate in that capacity.” entire post

Executive director of the Fraternal Order of Police criticized President Obama Thursday for his remarks about law enforcement in Ferguson, Mo. 

"I think what he has to do as president and as a constitutional lawyer is remember that there is a process in the United States and the process is being followed, for good or for ill, by the police and by the county and by the city and by the prosecutors’ office," Pasco added. 

Pasco harkened back to 2009, when Obama criticized a Massachusetts police officer for arresting Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates, when he was attempting to break into his own home. Obamasaid the officer had “acted stupidly.”

"That is one where the president spoke precipitously without all the facts," Pasco said, adding that the current situation "is a much larger and more tragic incident."

Pasco said both police and members of the public are entitled to due process but said he is not convinced police have used excessive force in Ferguson.

"I'm not there, and neither is the president," Pasco said. "That is why we have due process in the United States. And this will all be sorted out over time. But right now, I haven't seen anything from afar — and maybe the president has — that would lead me to believe the police are doing anything except to restore order."

Obama on Thursday called for “peace and calm on the streets” of Ferguson after “disturbing” clashes between police and protesters stemming from the police killing of an unarmed black teenager.

"There is never an excuse for violence against police or for those who would use this tragedy as a cover for vandalism or looting," Obama said in a statement from where he is vacationing in Massachusetts. "There's also no excuse for police to use excessive force against peaceful protests or to throw protesters in jail for lawfully exercising their First Amendment rights."

The officer involved in the Ferguson shooting is a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and is being represented by one of its lawyers. His name has not been released to the public.

Pasco declined to comment on whether Ferguson police should be withholding the officer's name.

"I would leave any statements on that to his defense," he said.  source
