Going Nuclear



Anyone reading or listening to the news these days is sure to have heard about Harry Reid’s nuclear option.  While Senator Reid would certainly make use of any such option at his disposal, the label pales in comparison to the real power many of us have at our disposal.  In order to restore what we have lost to this present coup, we have resorted to throwing firecrackers at the enemies of our country when we have a full storehouse of nuclear weapons.  Why do we use firecrackers when we have nuclear weapons?  Partially because we are unaware and unorganized, but more importantly, because we fail to recognize the power that is ours for the taking.

Dear Patriots :

Spinning grassroots into gold may seem like a task for Rumpelstiltskin but it may very well be the key to reversing America's decline.  The second part of this series will be presenting strategies and plans to overcome the regressive philosophy that is turning the land of the free into the home of the power-crazed elitists.  The very first thing that We the People must do is to stop acting like victims and unite in a common cause - the cause to preserve our liberties and bring sanity back to government.  This may also be the most difficult task to accomplish.  It seems that the more liberty-loving we are, the less likely we are to unite.  Egos and hidden agendas, coupled with my-way-or-the-highway attitudes, fuel disunity among fiercely independent people. The kind of cooperation that is needed to achieve unity is often not achievable once people are asked to get "behind" and idea or a strategy.  This is the first obstacle that must be overcome.

Is the unity that will yield success possible?  The 2014 elections will answer that question. But until that question is answered, we must fight for liberty in every way possible.  After 2014, the point may be moot and you may find yourself looking for that clothespin you use for your nose to eradicate the smell of mediocrity every election time

The Internet is thriving with Conservative commentary that fills the gap vacated by the media who has been exchanged its role as America’s watchdog for hollow ideology.  Thanks to blogs such as this, vital information that threatens the land of the free has been brought before the public.
While information is a “good” thing, it needs to be accompanied by strategically designed action or we become nothing more than educated slaves. I have always believed that with the ability to understand a problem comes the responsibility to solve the problem. For instance: understanding the repercussions of teaching Evolution, led me to co-found a Creation Science ministry; understanding the repercussions of government-run school curriculum, led me to found a Christian high school; and understanding the repercussions of an over-reaching unconstitutional government, led me to become a Tea Party activist.
