A Double Edged Sword?
A government undertaking of the protection of our food supply is laudable. However, the flip side to this effort can be the enactment of excessive regulations that can lead to stifling the rights of small farmers to grow organic foods, placing undue demands upon food processors, and hindering gardeners from freely growing their own food.
There is a logical and sensible medium to be found. The question is, can we trust the feds to find it? Given their track record on most issues, I don't think so. Get ready for the "experts".
