Democrats Are in Disarray After Disastrous Election ...

Democrats are in meltdown mode and it has nothing to do with climate change.

It’s the natural course of events for a political party in the aftermath of a disastrous election. And to be clear, 2016 was a disastrous election cycle for the entire Democratic Party, not just its presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton.

Not only did Republicans win the White House and retain control of both the House and Senate, they racked up big wins at the state level as well—not the least of which was winning the governorship of Vermont, not exactly the reddest state in the union, and the secretary of state in Oregon, which marks the first time in 14 years a Republican has won a statewide office there.

It's time to play America's fastest growing game show sensation, "Moron or Traitor."

Democratic Party (Formerly the Democratic-Republican Party)

At the collapse of the Federalist Party/Whig Party due to the Missouri Compromise, Abraham Lincoln created the Republican Party and ran on an anti-slavery platform that won him 60% of the populist/electoral-college vote against his opposition; Democrat John Cabell Breckinridge of Kentucky (2nd in electoral-college votes), who later served as the Confederate States of America, Secretary of War.

Formerly, Democratic-Republican Party, had its name officially changed by Democratic President Andrew Jackson to the Democratic Party (which is why Democrats advertise themselves as America’s oldest Party) to prevent further confusion among voters with Abraham Lincoln’s newly formed Republican Party.

US President, Democrat Andrew Jackson didn't help minorities when initiating the Trail of Tears that slaughtered the Cherokee Nation here in GA and moved others to Oklahoma.

Democratic Representative and later Democratic Senator of Mississippi, Jefferson Finis Davis eventually helped his Democratic Party establish the Confederate States of America. The Democratic Party overwhelmingly voted for Davis as the President of the Confederacy.

15th US President, Democrat James Buchanan, Jr. of Pennsylvania drafted the Ostend Manifesto and strongly supported the Corwin Amendment.

US House of Representatives, Democrat Thomas Corwin of Ohio, introduced the Corwin Amendment to prevent any future Amendments to the US Constitution that would empower the US government to enforce laws over domestic institutions within any State, to include preventing the abolishment of the institution of slavery or indentured servitude allowable within each States' laws. This Bill was defeated by Republicans in the US House of Representatives.

13TH Amendment to the US Constitution (Dec. 6th, 1865): Prohibits Slavery and Involuntary Servitude, signed into law by:
  1. 16th US President, Republican Abraham Lincoln
  2. US Secretary of State, Republican William Henry Seward, Sr. of New York
  3. US House of Representatives introduced the legislation via:
    1. Republican James Mitchell Ashley of Ohio
    2. Republican James F. Wilson of Iowa
  4. US Senate introduced legislation via:
    1. Republican Lyman Trumbull of Illinois
    2. Republican Charles Summer of Massachusetts
From 1865-1867, Confederate Democrats in Pulaski, TN created the KKK via the Immortal Six, their president Brian A. Scates, Confederate Brigadier General George Gordon as president, and Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest as Grand Wizard. The Democratic Party, via their KKK grassroots organization, successfully assassinated over 2,000 Republican candidates during the US 1868 elections in opposition to the Republican Reconstruction, anti-slavery, Irish, Jewish, and Catholic immigration; this prevented any Republicans from taking office in the Deep South for nearly 50-yrs  and closed-out major elections for nearly the whole century.

17th US President, Democrat (briefly, National Union Party due to Civil War's unpopularity of Democratic Party) Andrew Johnson of Tennessee vetoed the Civil Rights Act of 1866.

18th US President, Republican Hiram Ulysses S. Grant, (1st Republican to win 2-terms) signed into law:
  1. 15th Amendment to the US Constitution, allowing Freedmen the right to vote equally among all other races.
  2. Civil Rights Act of 1875, equal access in public facilities and jury pooling
  3. Force Act of 1870 & Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871: enabled the US Union Army to put down protest and arrest any known member of the KKK, White Knights, Red Shirts, and White League; who's involved in harassment, assassinations, or intimidation of Republicans, pastors, Native Americans, Jews, Catholics, Irish, or those of African descent.

28th US President, Democrat Woodrow Wilson didn't help minorities when he initiated segregated schools and buses and aggressively helped Democrats achieve separate but equal establishments.

Two Extremely Different Paths For America

Most of us have never seen such a drastic and stark contrast between the two major political parties in America like we have today. Though the Republican Party has a long way to go to return to its conservative roots, the Democratic Party has been infiltrated by the far Left. My grandparents were Democrats back when that party was a bit more moderate. Today, they have fully embraced abortion and support its federal funding; they have repealed the national Defense of Marriage Act, and support same-sex marriage.

Due to the liberal policies of the Obama administration, they have also racked up record entitlement and green technology spending. Approximately 47 million Americans are now on food stamps and many green energy companies the Obama Democrats bet our money on have now gone bankrupt and the media barely utters a word.

Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards is volunteering for the Obama campaign ‘for our daughters and granddaughters.’ Who can forget when Obama said if one of his daughters got pregnant, “I don’t want them punished with a baby.”[i] This is an extreme, under-reported stance on abortion. It’s disappointing that our tax dollars not only help fund abortion which most Christians oppose, but we also give aid to Planned Parenthood which proudly supports the Democratic Party. Richards makes $400,000 a year salary and Planned Parenthood raked in over $1 billion in total revenue last year.

In the weeks leading up to the 2012 Presidential Election, Franklin Graham has said he cannot and will not vote for any candidate who opposes pro-life legislation or who opposes traditional marriage. In a recent sermon by author and pastor John MacArthur entitled “Homosexuality and the Campaign for Immorality,” MacArthur stated God has abandoned America over the sin of homosexuality and we are living in times of rebellion and sexual revolution. He went on to declare, “The Democratic Party has become the anti-God party and the sin-promoting party.”[ii]

If Bible-believing Christians understand the moral principles upon which America was founded, we must also take notice of the glaring chasm between the Republican and Democratic Parties today. It’s confusing to me that many Christians continue voting along party lines instead of Biblical lines. I’ve said this before; Christians cannot leave Jesus Christ outside the voting booth when we cast our ballot on Election Day.

Next, a president’s most important responsibility is to keep America safe. There also seems to be two very different national defense philosophies as every day, more details emerge about last month’s terror attacks in Benghazi that left four Americans dead. Many are suggesting the weak foreign policy of the Obama administration may have led to the assassination of our U.S. Ambassador, the first time this has happened since the Carter administration. Tragically, Ambassador Stevens had asked for more security which could have prevented the deadly attacks on the embassy, and even warned of an Islamist group who took credit for a prior attack.

From an economic perspective, things don’t look good for President Obama either. However, the mainstream media continually covers up bad news. Gas prices are way up. The unemployment rate has been over 8 percent and as high as 10 percent for 43 months of his term. If we do the math and consider the people who dropped out of the workforce, it would still be over 10 percent today. 23 million Americans are out of work or underemployed. Four years ago, Obama promised to fix the problem by spending trillions of dollars on a so-called “economic stimulus.

He has clearly failed. Obama also promised to cut the deficit in half, but instead his administration has almost tripled the deficit. He spent the first year of his term pushing his controversial health care law which we now know could bankrupt the country. Rates are going up and people are dropping or losing their insurance.

We have a critical election coming up and it’s more important than ever to encourage friends to get out and vote their values. People of faith and supporters of religious freedom should put country before party loyalty. We’re faced with two paths leading in opposite directions and voters will decide America’s future in a few short weeks.
