Bite #27, Children Punished for Refusing Therapy:

William Dean Seaman:

“ On the meeting of January 11,1983 a father testified that his daughter had been punished for removing her from the health program. Emotionally, she was openly chided and ridiculed by other children in the school with no intervention from the teacher. Physically she was detained and threatened with a pink slip if she did not attend, causing her to lose free time during school, unlike the other students who attended the program. 

But what we are concerned about is much, much more than broken laws of the schools. The underlying attitude and philosophy of all the related programs and the way they are conducted in secrecy from the parents is an instrument of undermining proper upbringing of children according the beliefs and ideals of the parents. 

Discussions centering around divorce, sexual activity, homosexual and lesbian life style, death and dying, abortion and so forth....when introduced in the primary grades and led through discussions into liberal attitudes can only serve to break down the morals of the student involved---- If not then and there, in the classroom,.... then, to set them up later for breaking and deviating from them in their shortly arriving adolescent years.

 While the actual “Pilot Project” experimental curriculum did not begin till 1982, the underwritten curriculum and philosophy has been taught in certain segments for many years, undergoing refinements in its approach and secrecy all those years. Students have been placed under doctor’s care directly from these programs.
