Citizens Commission for Human Rights:
Psalm 1:1-2 “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stand in the ways of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful, but his delight is in the law of the Lord and in His law doth he meditate day and night.” Over fifty years ago G. Brock Chisholm prophesied to the American Psychiatric Association that without the extensive help of psychologists and psychiatrists it is quite probable that man will no longer survive the fearful changes which are taking place.
Parents, he said, were incapable of recognizing the fact that many of their attitudes and loyalties are an active menace to the peace of the world----using the age old mechanism of fear---- he threatened that the human race will not be saved unless it is freed from its confused and distorted emotional and mental functioning.
He urged psychologists and psychiatrists to become leaders in the planned development of a new kind of human being. Peddling their gospel that man is a programmable and soulless animal to be controlled by invalidation, enforced values and drugs, psychology and psychiatry have systematically subverted the social order and religious principles since their inception.
