Just as It Always Does, Democrats’ Hubris Is Coming Back to Bite Them

In the movie Animal House, Dean Wormer gave freshman, Flounder, sage advice: “Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son.” Although those specific parameters seem, inexplicably, to have worked well for many Democrat Party luminaries and lesser acolytes, a related thought works better: “Stupid and arrogant is a bad combination.” Although the consequences of ignoring this observation are beginning to nibble at the edges of Democrat denial in the real world, their full impact has yet to deliver a pile-driver to their awareness. Presuming Democrat awareness is even possible. That may be irrelevant.

Democrat invective has escalated several orders of magnitude since the election of President Trump a scant ten months ago. Emotionally driven tall-tales and ever-increasing their voting base by providing themselves with a permanent underclass, are the sum and total of their “platform”. There has been unprecedented, vituperative hatred spewed not only at the President but at his voting base. There is no calumny too atrocious, including murder, in their attempt to buck off a legally elected President, not of their ideology. Indeed, very few of their heinous actions have garnered any adverse consequences, thus far.

But there is method to such Democrat madness; the more outlandish the tirade, the better. Lunatic assertions are designed to desensitize conflict and numb opposition. Less irrational incursions, therefore, advanced by Democrats, automatically become “acceptable”.

The Democrat Party’s long-range plan isolates and demonizes anyone with skin tone paler than café-au-lait. Particularly, white male voters. The reasoning? If every splinter chipped off of America’s societal structure can be united against white men, Democrats believe their specious math neutralizes the majority and gets them back in control of the political game.

The flaw? Even if every non-Caucasian of voting age could be relied upon to deliver unconditional allegiance to Democrats, this strategy contains the seeds of Democrat Party disintegration. Like virulent weeds, previously-reliable Democrat useful idiots are already outgrowing Democrat control, ready to strangle what life remains to their moribund host.

The Democrat Party has had a chokehold on the nation’s educational, communications and social services for the last hundred years. There is not a state or municipality that Democrats have not destroyed, economically, culturally and from a safety aspect. California’s P.C., moonbat policies have metastasized the Golden State into the Excrement State. Flint Michigan cannot even provide its citizens with safe drinking water. Chicago resembles Fallujah more than it does a major American city.

Institutional ignorance, theological rejection, creation of ecological shibboleths, abandonment of the family unit in favor of government largess, establishing an incessant, Orwellian, “minute-of hate” drumbeat of racism thus guaranteeing Democrat race-junkies that there can never be a resolution, eliminating the need for personal achievement and eradicating reason (instilling indoctrination instead) is not accidental. Name-calling and violence have replaced facts.

German Marxist literary critic, Walter Benjamin, once said: “History is written by the victors.” Since grasping control, Democrats have been torquing and redacting history to their advantage, adding the outrage that whatever they disagree with is a fascistic lie and must be suppressed at all costs. They have had considerable success. But the Democrat Party’s mortal error is that they have bought into their own narrative, either through stupidity or arrogance at having gotten away with their program this long.

Unlike competent criminals who maintain a genuine set of books in addition to the set they fabricate, the Democrat Party seems to have become irrevocably wedded to their “I-say-so-makes-it-true” fabrications. They have failed to hearken to the primary rule of usurping reality. It is crucial to remember what is real and, just as significant, what is not. Author Phillip K. Dick once wrote: “Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn’t go away.”

By creating victim group after victim group, the Democrat Party has failed to recognize an historic fact: mobs cannot be indefinitely controlled. Ever. And they turn on their creators. Always. If Democrats had an understanding of history, they would have noted this result from every Revolutionary event throughout recorded time. The more you give mobs, the more they want. And, eventually, that insatiable greed outstrips their creator’s ability to satisfy their demands. The more splinters created, the greater the dissatisfaction and the more desperate the fight for one group to control the victimization pyramid’s summit.

Disparate groups don’t want equality. They want supremacy. They tear each other to pieces in order to be foremost among the rabble. Their architect usually bites the dust, first. This phenomenon has already emerged, e.g., the fury generated by a rigged Bernie Sanders loss in the 2016 primary, wrath of a constituency of useful idiots that their Leftist politicians are not far Left enough. And now, despotic “victim” groups are beginning to turn upon one another judging by the recent behavior of Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA.

The bad news, of course, is that chaos threatens not only Democrat fantasists but everyone who voted to rid themselves of anarchy as well. Whether Democrats genuinely believe their own delusions or simply believe that the bill for their fallacious constructs won’t come due on their watch, the consequences of Democrat hubris can’t be avoided forever. Voters must begin to rid America of Democratic influence in government. We must eradicate the damage they’ve unleashed on society… or everyone, not just Democrats, faces a catastrophic “uncivil” war.
