When we call evil good and good evil

It is sad when people do not know right from wrong. I once seen a dog chase his tail round and round in a circle. The people did not know how to help him to stop. The reason why is because they did not understand the reason why a dog would do such a thing. But there was a man nick named the Dog whisperer and he understood the problem and help the dog out of his problem.

much in the same way, People who do not know right from wrong, need to be understood like the dog in our illustration, But the problem is, People are more stubborn then dogs, and can only be helped if they so choose to be helped.  I once ask a man “If you were to die right now, do you know (Nothing doubting) that you would make it to heaven?”  He  said that he had lived a life so good that he was good enough to make it to heaven.  I said, “Can I put you through a test that I failed?  He said You failed it, I said yes.  He said with a smile, “Yes I would like to take the test, and added, what kind of test is it?”  I said, “a good person Test”.  So he complied and I started asking questions.

1.     Have you ever told a lie at any point in your life?  He said Yes?  I said what do you call a person who lies? He said a liar?

2.     Have you ever stolen anything in you life?  He said yes, and I said what do you call a person who steals?  He said a steelier, I said know that is a football team, and he laugh.  I said he is called a thief.

3.     I ask him if he had ever looked at a person who was not his wife and lusted after her?  He said what do you mean?  I said if you could you would have sex with her?  He said with pride YES!   I quoted Matthew 5:27-28 ¶ "You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not commit adultery.' 28 "But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

     What do you call a person who lost after another that is not their spouse?  An adulterer

4.      Have you ever use the name of God in vain?  By in vain I mean  Using God’s name in any way that is not giving him Holy honor.  He said Yes.  I quoted  Exodus 20:7 "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.:

 

Then I said I have only asked 4 questions and you have admitted to me that you are a lying, stealing, adulterer at heart who is a blasphemer of God’s name!   Now why should God allow you into his presence in heaven?

    Do you get the point?  Here was a man who did not understand why Jesus had to die, and he did not understand why Jesus had to die, because he had a heart problem, his heart was so untruthful or ignorant that he could not see his own sins, and yes we studied the bible together.  Because the bible is the only guide for what is right or wrong.  And applying the law help us to stop going in circles as we chase our tails.  For we can know right from wrong!  That is a great feeling.  For we can build our life on the Rock (Matthew 16) and that Rock is Jesus The Christ.
