Another Obama Crony In Prosecutorial Crosshairs

Remember during the 2008 primary contest how the Tony Resko scandal broke. The Soros owned MSM never picked it up. Since then, there has been scandal after scandal and Obama seems to have taken cronyism to new heights. Go here  for just one of many articles on the subject.

Now, for the latest:

Obama’s “Best Friend” Just Got Some Epic Bad News

Friday, December 5th, 2014

President Barack Obama’s BFF is in big trouble.

Apparently it’s frowned upon, even in Chicago, to stonewall prosecutors in a bribery and fraud case.

But that’s exactly what Obama’s main fixer, Dr. Eric E. Whittaker, is accused of doing.

The accusations of money laundering, mail fraud and bribery stem from his days as the top dog in the state health business — director of the Illinois Department of Public Health.

Whitaker was recently declared a hostile witness involving one of his past health department minions who decided to raid a public health fund in order to buy vacation homes, concert tickets and all kinds of other fun stuff on the Illinois taxpayers’ dime.

Obama talked his former buddy Tony Rezko into giving Whitaker the top state health job back in 2004 — back when Obama was a lowly Senator whom barely anyone outside the state had even heard of.

Rezko was Rod Blegojevich’s main “fixer,” as Whitaker is to Obama. Rezko eventually landed in an Illinois state prison himself for bribery and fraud charges.

Can you imagine how many of these corrupt former politicians and aides are locked up in the Illinois correctional system?

Whitaker was described as a “bag man” who was behind paying off Rev. Jeremiah Wright to keep his mouth shut until Obama’s first presidential campaign in 2008 was wrapped up.

He certainly hasn’t broken the mold of corruption that seems to constantly flow out of Chicago, as Whitaker is also involved in another scandal involving a former aide.

The aide allegedly stole $400,000.

And the icing on the cake? Whitaker was sexually involved with her (H/T IJReview).

Now that Whitaker’s status as a witness is “hostile,” there’s a remote chance that he might spill the beans on what he knows, but it’s unlikely.

One thing’s for sure. Obama will be staying as far away as possible from his best buddy while he’s got the spotlight of the court system on him.
