This is my story......
Recently my husband, I, and our labradoodle, Lacey, decided we needed to take a trip up north where the colors on the trees were changing a little faster than where we live. First we headed to Alpena, Michigan, (Northeast area) stopping off along the way in the wee hours to catch a little sleep at a rest stop. My husband woke up just in time to see the very beginning of the Blood Moon on Oct. 8! He woke me to see it which I immediately grabbed my iPhone and my camera to take lots of pictures of that one big AWESOME moon that early morning.
I couldn't help but think how the Bible speaks of the Blood Moons in the Bible and never did I realize before they were a lunar eclipse. Actually this tells it better scientifically from earthsky.org: "What is a lunar tetrad? Both astronomers and followers of certain Christian pastors are talking about the lunar tetrad of 2014-2015. What is a tetrad? It’s four successive total lunar eclipses, with no partial lunar eclipses in between, each of which is separated from the other by six lunar months (six full moons)."
The first one of this tetrad was on April 14-15, 2014. This one I just watched was on Oct. 8, 2014. The next 2 are on April 4, and Sept. 28, 2015.
earthsky.org also states the following which is true: "There are a total of 8 tetrads in the 21st century (2001 to 2100). But proponents of this Biblical prophecy regard the ongoing tetrad as especially significant because it coincides with two important Jewish holidays: Passover and Tabernacles.
The April 2014 and April 2015 total lunar eclipses align with the feast of Passover. The October 2014 and September 2015 total lunar eclipses align with the feast of Tabernacles."
Now to me this is evidence that God is NOT dead and is very real. Prophecy in the Bible also is another reason I know God is real. How could those Biblical writers know scientific information like this when they weren't even scientists. Yet this is what I found:
"I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and billows of smoke. The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD." (Joel 2:30-31, NIV) (The Book of Joel was written by Joel, a prophet)
"The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. (Acts 2:20, NIV) (The Book of Acts was written by Luke.)
"I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red," (Revelation 6:12, NIV) (The Book of Revelation was written by the Apostle, John)

This is at Sleeping Bear Dunes, MI where we are 450 ft. up on a huge dune. You can barely see the people as they look like dots in a couple of those pictures.
But hope my proof that God is not dead is obvious! Not sure. The Bible verses add to the story about those blood moons. I do want that in there. So probably just my pictures of the moon and info about the blood moons. Leave out the rest. No autumn pictures unless you think they are needed. The Blood Moons were so obviously huge to me after watching Pastor John Hagee preach a series about them in the Bible and the Last Days. If you have never heard the Biblical prophecy about the Blood Moons, you should watch it.
