In it's July 4th edition the Bucks County Intelligencer wrote a synopsis of the declaration of independence, listing the many grievances that the colonies had with King George III and Great Britain.
The same type of abuses and usurpations that were laid at the feet of King George could just as easily be attributed to President Obama. As with King George, President Obama only enforces the laws of the land when he finds it to be politically advantageous.
President Obama makes up his own laws and applies taxes to the citizens of this country, disregarding our Constitution; and the fact that by said document, he, the President is supposed to enforce all the laws of the land.
King Barack, I mean President Obama should follow the Constitution and allow the Congress to enact the laws of the country and to remember it is his job to enforce those laws. He should not be allowed to grant wavers to his political allies enabling them to be free of taxes and regulations that the regular populace is burdened with.
As if all this President's failings at home are not disgraceful enough , his handling of our foreign policy is a literal kick in the teeth to our military and those who have sacrificed so much for their country.
Over 4400 brave men and women were killed and over 30,000 maimed and injured in Iraq fighting terrorism. A large percentage of these casualties were caused by IEDs or improvised explosive devices. It has been well documented that the vast majority of these devices were built and even planted by Iran.
The present Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Martin Dempsey, has just stated on national television that it may be necessary for the United States to have joint planning exercises with the Iranians. President Obama's administration has been negotiating with the Iranians for the last few years, even while our troops were still being killed and maimed in Iraq and Afghanistan .by IEDs manufactured by Iran.
Isn't negotiating and planning military operations with a country that continues to maim and kill our military, "Treason"?
