I was stunned, recently, to read about a caring and competent Michigan mother refusing to let child services take her very normal child and forcibly drug her with psychiatric medications. I was particularly taken aback not by the forced medication itself but rather by the lengths that social services were willing to go. In this particular case they came with SWAT teams and a TANK! (via Secrets of the Fed).
I imagine many people's initial reactions who are freedom loving Americans is to share the same indignation that I personally feel and say to themselves, 'well another aspect of tyranny in Obama's America!' or 'poor kid...poor mother'. The sad thing is most people will take it no further then the tyrannical aspect involving the SWAT teams and TANK.

Currently, in the US, there are millions of children that taking powerful psychotropic drugs for a variety of mental disorders. These drugs, however, were developed for adults and NOT children. In fact 75 to 80 of these psychotropic drugs have not been tested on minors and are used 'off label' by professionals (i.e. Outside of the guidelines set by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)) (via HealthState Features).
Big Pharma has been aggressively pushing to promote drugging through bogus diagnosis programs such as 'Teen Screen' that hand out questions weighted in such a way to catch as many new recipients for their products. Many parents, sadly, do not take the time to investigate what programs such as 'Teen Screen' involve for their children and simply waver their rights to object without a second thought!
Drugs are approved by the FDA officials without too many questions asked which is not surprising as many of them have links with Big Pharma. Some of these psychotropic drugs that go through the FDA are, merely, re-labelled when they fall out of their patents or whether they have had any adverse consequences on recipients (something that only comes to light after decades of acquired evidence).
If you are hoping for your politicians within the false left right paradigm of US politics to say something then I would suggest examining campaign contributions closely on a state and Federal level.
You may ask at this moment, 'surely some kids benefit from these drugs'; perhaps they do or is it more of a case that symptoms are dealt with rather then the underlining issues.
However, what doesn't seem to be flagged up by our mainstream media is how many children suffer adversely from the side effects of these medications. There has been a recent flurry of lawsuits filed by parents that charge that ADHD is being over-diagnosed to boost Ritalin sales to children who are merely unruly.
There are out of court settlements involvement the drug Risperdal and breast growth within males. (via CBS). Furthermore, the manufacturer of the drug was in fact fined billions by a court in Arkansas for downplaying the side effects!

It has also been estimated that 54 percent of shootings that have occurred (include those such as Columbine and the Kipland shootings) have involved children on psychotropic drugs.
It may well be that Adam Lanza, who was responsible for the Sandy Hook shootings, may have been
someone prescribed one of these drugs. Sadly, this fact is ignored by President Obama who would rather concentrate on making political capital out of such a tragedy by pushing gun control legislation rather then asking if psychotropic drugs were involved. In fact rather then question if such drugs were involved he stated at his December 19 press conference,
"We are going to need to work on making access to mental-health care as easy as access to a gun." (via Natural News)
Translated into everyday speak, it sounds like he is working to push more such drugs on children, no doubts, through ObamaCare! After all. why should he ask questions when he has been supported by Big Pharma (and in that regards Republicans have been quite silent themselves because they too feed from the same feeding pen!).

Then. off course, there are the unreported case of suicide of many children who's whole personalities change once they start taking the drugs. In some cases they start thinking dark thoughts such as wanting to kill their parents, or cutting themselves among other things.
We are indeed raising a chemical generation in the US that is addicted to such psychotropic drugs; drugs that in some cases are as addictive as cocaine. There backbone is being destroyed and they are more likely to grown up as welfare recipients in a nation that can barely afford the interest to the Federal Reserve for the dollars that it prints (unconstitutionally) on behalf of the US Government. Interest on a national debt that stands at 16 Trillion and climbing rather then been healthy individuals able to stand on their own two feet as our parents and grandparents did!
Sadly, too few people are connecting the dots because of the lack of reporting of such subjects by the mainstream media, the lack of research done by parents and the deference attitudes that people still hold towards psychiatrists that are no better then legalized drug pushers in many cases and teachers that are looking for an expediently quick fix method to handle a child's behavior in school.
I encourage everyone to get informed on this subject as your child may well be one that is recommended (or forced by social services) to have psychotropic drugs in the not too distant future. Alternatively, you may know a co worker, family member or someone else considering using these drugs.
