What if They Held Impeachment Hearings and the MSM Didn't Show Up?

Today's Benghazi hearings brought back memories of my grandparents glued to the television for weeks at a time during the Iran Contra hearings. History in the making! Scandal at the highest levels! Possible impeachment proceedings!

Former Deputy Chief of Mission in Libya Gregory Hicks's recounting of the events on September 11, 2012, has been gripping. He recounts how furious the security team was when they were at the Tripoli airport ready to fly to Benghazi and were told to stand down. Hicks's take-away line: "I will quote Lieutenant Colonel Gibson. He said, 'This is the first time in my career that a diplomat has more balls than somebody in the military.'"

The hearings opened with Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) warning about a partisan witch-hunt, and exonerating the Obama Administration because the military made the assessment that they didn't have time to get to Benghazi. It has been pointed out that they had no way of knowing how long the attack would last, and therefore had no way of knowing if they could get there in time.

I watched some of the live feed, and moved to the television. I was sure it would be on CSPAN, but I found a budget debate on CSPAN-1 and 2, and my cable package doesn't carry CSPAN-3 where it was being broadcast. I scrolled through television channels, unable to find it anywhere Apparently it was on Fox, but I missed it, so I went to YouTube. Recently a YouTube videoof a teenager girl's hair styling going wrong got 12 million views in five days. Today's testimony is up, but the viewership is minimal, to say the least, with most of the segments showing "no views."
