The Roman Catholic Church in America aggressively pushed for Obama's 2008 initial election. Strong Roman Catholic support put Obama back into office in states like Ohio, and New England. The collective salvation, veneration of the dead, praying family into heaven, are dangerous doctrines that have enabled congregations to dismiss their Earthly responsibilities on faith based issues: infant baptism, abortion, infanticide, infallibility of scripture, creationism, and etc...
These aren't problems unique to the Roman Catholics alone, but they're one of the largest Christian based denominations recognized worldwide and must regain catechetical conscious of mind among its congregations. The Communists have intelligently integrated collectivism into the, unrestricted grace of collective salvation theology of Roman Catholicism. If you can just pray babies into heaven, then it's somehow not necessary to campaign against abortion.
Also, too much law persecutes promiscuous youth, in our sex driven society, who feel disfranchised from both family and the Church indefinitely and establishes a culture of abortion in the absence of an active Church. The law and legalism in terms of salvation running parallel to acts of work within the Church can burn out its members, under works righteousness theology.
The Roman Catholics must reaffirm their balance between Law & Gospel, a balance of grace without compromising the law and are obligation to spiritually live by it to the extent that our sins don't compromise our intent. These issues are a tough balance in any Christian Church and the size of the Roman Catholic Church gives it disproportional press and too much bureaucracy to effectively manage.
We don't know how many fake priests were introduced by the NAZI and USSR into the monasteries to later evolve as Trojan Horse to hijack congregations at a later point in time. I believe this trend is taking place in our American Churches of all types.
