                             Day of Horror

On September 11,2001 the people of the United States were shocked by the most fatal attack on American soil in United States history. On that day of horror thousands of people lost their lives and thousands more were injured and millions of people were terrorized. Did you wonder where God was? Did you ask yourself questions about that terrible day?

You are not alone in asking those questions. What does the Bible, the most important Book in all the world, have to say? In the little booklet you will find listed some of God’s answers to the hard questions. It is our prayer you will find strength, peace and comfort in the Word of God. .Where is God?

Psalm 139:8-10 “If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost part of the sea, even there shall Thy hand lead me and Thy right hand shall uphold me.” Psalm 92:15 “The Lord is upright and there is no unrighteousness in Him.” 1 Peter 5:7 “Cast all your care upon Him for He careth for you.” Isaiah 55:8 and 9 “My thoughts are not your thoughts and neither are your ways My ways, “ saith the Lord. “As the Heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.”

Much Higher are His Ways:

Why would a God full of mercy and love...sit in His Heaven and watch from above...Young children crying from hunger down here...suffering and dying in pain and in fear? Ten thousand angels could come at His will. Here on this earth every need to fulfill; feed all the hungry and heal every lame; comfort the lonely and ease every pain.  Why would He die upon Calvary’s Tree? Why give His Life for a sinner like me? Why should He search for one lost sheep that strays? Much Higher are His Ways!  He knows what’s best for me. His wisdom I can’t see. Much higher are His ways,. I’ll understand someday.
