How Mueller’s “Saudi-fixing” connected with Vernon Jarrett’s efforts in 1979 to promote a future president
WASHINGTON, D.C. – A controversial article published Monday by investigative historian Eric Zuesse forces to the forefront once again the historical record suggesting Robert Mueller played a major role cementing the Bush family ties to the Saudi ruling family that paid for Barack Hussein Obama’s education at Harvard Law School.
Zuesse argues it all began with the 1996 bombing of the Khobar Towers apartment complex in the city of Khobar, Saudi Arabia, that killed 19 U.S. military who worked at the Dharan air base three miles away.
At that time, President Bill Clinton, according to Zuesse, was desperate to blame Shi’ite radicals from Iran as the perpetrators of the Khobar Towers bombing, in order to protect the real perpetrators that the U.S. government had identified as Sunni radicals from Saudi Arabia with close ties to Osama bin Laden, a Saudi national, and his al-Qaeda network of Sunni terrorists.
Zuesse argues that exposing the actual perpetrators of the Khobar Towers bombing would have been embarrassing to the Clinton administration’s effort to hide from the U.S. public the deal President George H.W. Bush cut with the Saudis to support the petrodollar by buying U.S. Treasuries to float the U.S. national debt being caused by over-generous social welfare spending and an about-to-be-bankrupt Social Security system.
As the administration of President George W. Bush took over in 2001, then FBI Director Louis Freeh in the out-going Clinton administration asked Mueller, who was then acting as John Ashcroft’s deputy attorney general, to transfer the Khobar Towers bombing case to Comey.
The gambit paid off, as Comey, then serving as the lead prosecutor for the Department of Justice in the Khobar Towers bombing case, produced an indictment presenting overwhelming “evidence” of Iran’s involvement in the bombing – an indictment Comey first presented in a briefing to President George W. Bush’s National Security Council at the White House, with the approval of then Secretary of State Colin Powell, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, and National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice.
Here is how Zuesse summarized the Mueller-Comey relationship over the Khobar Towers FBI investigation:
So, Comey and Mueller were brought in by Freeh because Freeh was about to retire and he wanted successors who would be committed to the theory of the case, that Freeh had gotten from Prince Bandar. If Comey and Mueller wouldn’t go along with that torture-extracted ‘testimony’ as ‘evidence’, then their ability to become appointed head the FBI would have been zero. Freeh, Comey, and Mueller are a team – a team that serves the Bushes and the Saudis. But not the American public.
This ties into Obama’s Harvard Law education over an incident in 1997 when the Canadians caught and extradited to the United States one of the Saudi radicals alleged to have been one of the Khobar Towers attackers.
In 1999, in stepped Vernon Jordan, the civil rights lawyer who was an associate of communist columnist Frank Marshall Davis and the great uncle of Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s top adviser.
As a result of Jordan’s intervention, the alleged Saudi killer was shipped back to Saudi Arabia before he had time to defend himself by tying responsibility for the Khobar Towers bombing back to al-Qaeda and Saudi radicals supported financially by the Saudi royal family.
As Zuesse points out, by squashing credible information the Saudis were behind the Khobar Towers bombing, Mueller and Comey served the interests of America’s “Deep State” that extend to an international network that includes the Saudi ruling family.
Thus, Comey and Mueller prevented from being exposed the secret pact President George H. W. Bush’s arranged with the Saudis to finance the petrodollar by buying U.S. Treasuries, even at zero interest rates – a pact that proved indispensable to President Barack Hussein Obama’s ability to double the U.S. debt in eight years to a new record high of approximately $2 trillion dollars.
How does Mueller tie into paying for Obama’s Harvard education?
A 1979 syndicated newspaper article written by Vernon Jarrett, the step-father of Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett, casts new light on Obama’s early ties with the Saudis and their U.S. supporters, as well as the network of Chicago radicals that were reaching out to the Middle East to support Barack Obama in the 1980s, when he was a community organizer making plans to attend Harvard Law School.
The article suggests that in 1979, the Saudis may have been working with Deep State interests in U.S. intelligence to support a small group of promising minority students including African-American students, in the hope of recruiting future African-American politicians, under the presumption the 1960s Civil Rights Movement would result in the election of an African-American president in the not so distant future.
In the 1979 article, Jarrett noted that Kahalid Abdullah Tariq Al-Monsour, the former Black Panther and lawyer then known as Donald Warden, in his work on behalf of Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal and OPEC, sought to create a fund that would provide $20 million for 10 years to aid 10,000 minority students each year, including blacks, Arabs, Hispanics, Asians, and Native Americans.
The interesting connection is documented in a YouTube video much debated during the 2008 presidential campaign in which Percy Sutton, a veteran New York power broker and well-known attorney in Harlem who had represented Malcolm X, discusses when he first heard of Obama.
As first reported in 2009, Sutton, then an octogenarian, in a 2008 appearance on the New York-produced “Inside City Hall” television show, explained that Islamic radical and former Black Panther al-Monsour, whom Sutton claimed was “principal advisor to one of the world’s richest men,” namely Prince al-Waleed, made a telephone call to Sutton to bring to his attention Barack Obama.
Prince al-Waleed and Prince Bandar currently are both under house arrest in the current purge that appears to be a consolidation of power by the current Saudi ruling family.
Sutton said al-Mansour told him about Obama, saying in a letter, “There’s a young man that has applied to Harvard. I know that you have a few friends left there because you used to go up there to speak. Would you please write a letter in support of him?”
On air, Sutton further confirmed he did write the letter, telling his friends at Harvard, “I thought there was going to be a genius that was going to be available and I certainly hoped they would treat him kindly.”
During the 2008 presidential campaign, Ben Smith, then writing for Politico, reported the Obama campaign’s flat denial of Sutton’s story.
Smith was not able to get in touch with Sutton, whose advanced age had raised questions whether his memory of writing a letter of recommendation for Obama was confused.
Smith did reach al-Mansour, who confirmed Sutton was “a dear friend, his health is not good,” but said he’s sure Sutton wrote a letter for someone else, “and he got it confused.”

Frank Miele, the Daily Inter Lake reporter who found the 1979 story and brought it to public attention, commented as follows:
“Until now, there really has been no context within which to understand the Sutton story or to buttress it as a reliable account other than the reputation of Sutton himself as one of the top leaders of the black community in Manhattan — himself a noted attorney, businessman, and politician. But the new discovery of the 1979 column that established Khalid al-Mansour’s interest in creating a fund to give ‘financial help to disadvantaged students’ does provide a clue that he might indeed — along with his patron, Arab Prince Alwaleed bin Talal — have taken an interest in the ‘genius’ Barack Obama.”
In the 1979 article Jarrett also notes Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi was planning to support black organizations and individuals.
Jarrett was willing to bet American colleges and universities would ignore racial politics and accept the Arab money to finance the education of African-American students, wondering “What will be the response in white America that American blacks have influential supporters in foreign lands?”
“Can the average American live with the thought of blacks being anything other than helpless – a people without any other resources than domestic ‘tolerance’ and charity and their own bootstraps?” Jarrett questioned.
“The new black advocacy of a homeland for the Palestinians and recognition of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) has put the Arabs as well as certain black leaders on the spot,” he continued. “Suppose those black leaders who openly embraced Yasser Arafat suffer extreme shortages in financial contributions because of their pro-Arab stands. And suppose the Arabs do not come to their rescue.”
In that case, Jarrett speculated American blacks would have the upper hand: “Such a failure could cause America blacks to adopt a slogan made famous by the Jews, ‘Never Again.’”
Another interesting connection is that Frank Marshall Davis and Vernon Jarrett were close friends in Chicago and colleagues at the Chicago Defender and the Chicago Star, two communist-run newspapers in Chicago during the 1940s.
In early 1948, Frank Marshall Davis and Vernon Jarrett served together on the publicity committee of the Citizen’s Committee to Aid Packing-House Workers, a communist-organized labor union that represented workers in the meatpacking industry.
Joel Gilbert, the filmmaker whose documentary entitled “Dreams from My Real Father,” argued the discovery of Jarrett’s 1979 article raises new questions.
“What did the Arab funders expect in return from Obama in return for the academic and political funding?” Gilbert asked, speculating that al-Monsour and the Saudis were involved in funding Obama’s education. “Is Barack Obama and the United States itself subject to blackmail, revealing the source of his academic funding, from those Arab funders if he does not follow their wishes?”
Gilbert wondered if financial indebtedness to the Saudis might explain why Obama was so deferential as to bow to the Saudi king upon meeting him for the first time, attending the G20 meeting in London in 2009.
Gilbert argues in the documentary that Frank Marshall Davis, the radical poet and journalist who was a card-carrying member of the Communist Party USA, was the real, biological and ideological father of Barack Obama, not Barack Obama, the Kenyan, who came from Africa in 1959 to attend the University of Hawaii in Honolulu.
In an article published on June 22, 2015, Judicial Watch noted that FBI files obtained by Judicial Watch on a FOIA request revealed that Valerie Jarrett’s father, Dr. James Bowman, as well as her maternal grandfather, Robert Rochon Taylor, and her father-in-law, Vernon Jarrett, were all “hardcore Communists under investigation by the U.S. government.”
In the same article, Judicial Watch commented that documents obtained in 2008 linked “Valerie Jarrett, who also served as co-chairman of Obama’s presidential transition team, to a series of real estate scandals, including several housing projects operated by convicted felon and Obama fundraiser/friend Antoin “Tony” Rezko. According to the documents obtained from the Illinois Secretary of State, Valerie Jarrett served as a board member for several organizations that provided funding and support for Chicago slum projects operated by Rezko.”
In the close-knit political community of Chicago, it also turns out that Ann Jordon, wife of Vernon Jordon, was the cousin of Valerie Jarrett who served as chairman of the Clinton presidential transition team in 1992. Ann Jordon, it turns out, first met Barack Hussein Obama when she wanted Obama’s fiancé, Michelle Robinson, to run for an office in Mayor Daley’s City Hall.
