THOUGHTS OF CHRISTMAS FROM THE HEART

What Christmas means to me by Pearl Sturgis

Church bells ring and snow is falling down. Holly wreaths now hang all over town. Christmas lights are blinking red and blue. Lord, Christmas can't be Christmas without You. There was never Christmas till the Savior came that day. Think about the Baby in the Manger far away. He was born in Bethlehem to die for you and me. So it's how our Christmas came to be. Jesus is the reason Christmas happened from the start. I remember Christmas with my Savior in my heart. God sent down His Only Son to set the whole world free. This is just what Christmas means to me.

Christmas Prayer

The apple tree is bare...The lilac leaves are gone. A chill is in the air. A storm is coming on. Christmas Day is near. Why am I feeling low? I should be filled with cheer. It's starting now to snow. we'll celebrate the Birth of God's own Son that Day. You came from Heaven to earth. You had to make a way...to take us Home on High. To save us from our sin. You came to earth to die...that we might live again. PLS 2004 Soon after our Mother had died when I wrote this.. No, the date says December 5, 2005 so it was the next year after she died.

Prayer for these young kids caught up in human trafficking

I’m asking for prayer for these young kids that are tricked and caught up in human trafficking and asking for others to get involved to save our children. Post your Prayer:
Pray for America’s Leaders: The God who gave us life gives us liberty. Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis...that these liberties are a gift of God? Thomas Jefferson (from the writings of Thomas Jefferson 19 vol. ...1905) Your prayers are important. America is not beyond hope. We serve a Mighty God who can turn the hearts of kings (Prov.21:1) God expects us to pray for those in government ---regardless of whether we elected them or not. “I exhort, first of all, that prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence (1 Timothy 1:1-2)
* Please pray that the men and women in government roles will turn to God, acknowledge Him and humble themselves to seek His wisdom and follow His guidance.
* Continue to pray for righteous leaders like Chief Justice Roy Moore of Alabama and others who are being persecuted for their bold stand against unjust laws and the moral decline of America.
* Pray that God will hear our prayers as we humbly seek His Face and turn from sin. Matt Staver, Liberty Counsel. LC.org
