In the book “To Harrass our People” by Senator George V. Hansen, the introduction reads: “The Germans called it “The Night of Glass”...the night that Hitler’s secret police smashed the windows of the homes and businesses of the Jewish Community. This was time which the Jewish people learned to say yes to totalitarianism but the harassment and coercion did not go away with the fall of the Third Reich! It exists today in the psychiatric wards of Soviet Russia and on the slave labor farms of Communist China.
It is even present here in the United States in the heavy hand of bureaucracy, particularly in the Internal Revenue Service. The IRS has turned its back on its charter as a legal tax collector in a voluntary compliance program for the United States Government. The IRS has deserted its role as a servant to the people with numerous restricted documents and grind hard working American tax payers under the heels of their boots. It has taken upon itself the role of master and intimidator of the public.
A former IRS agent once expressed it this way: “I was talking to a lady in an accountant office yesterday. She was from Germany and she said to me” “You know? The IRS is getting to be like the gestapo was in Germany. When it first came out nobody heard too much about it but within a few years when you heard the name “Gestapo” you would get a chill. That’s how it is now with the Internal Revenue Service!”----- I’m not too sure but what the lady isn’t right about that! People are afraid!
