Donald Trump demands ‘jail’ for corrupt Hillary aide Huma Abedin

President Donald Trump is done playing games: he wants to see lawbreakers placed behind bars. And first on his list is former top aide for Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin.

According to Trump, Abedin “has been accused of disregarding basic security protocols,” and it’s time for her to pay the price.

Abedin allegedly housed classified emails on the computer of her husband, disgraced former New York congressman and noted pervert Anthony Weiner, who is currently serving a 21-month sentence for “sexting” with a 15-year-old girl.
The Tweet Heard Around The World

In his tweet, the president mentioned “sailors pictures on submarine [sic],” which Fox News suggested may refer to former U.S. Navy Sailor Kristian Saucier, “who was put in prison for taking unauthorized photos inside a nuclear submarine.”

The president “seemed to suggest a double standard is at play,” according to Fox, “compared with the lack of punishment for Clinton and her aides.”

Fox News further reported:
The president’s tweet comes after the State Department, in a Friday news dump, released a batch of emails from Abedin’s account that were discovered by the FBI on a laptop belonging to her estranged husband, Anthony Weiner. At least four of the documents were marked “classified.”

Abedin also forwarded sensitive State Department emails to her personal Yahoo email account before every Yahoo account was hacked, first reported by the Daily Caller. Abedin also sent passwords for her government laptop to her Yahoo account on Aug. 24, 2009.
Abedin Isn’t Alone

While the former Clinton aide’s scandals are far from resolved, Trump’s sights don’t extend just to Abedin; former FBI Director James Comey is in the president’s crosshairs too.

Trump is likely focused on a letter exonerating Hillary Clinton of wrongdoing that Comey allegedly began drafting months before the investigation into her use of a private email server while she was secretary of state was completed.

The draft letter was first brought to the public’s attention on Aug. 30 when Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) sent a letter describing it to the then-newly-appointed FBI Director Christopher Wray.

“It appears that in April or early May of 2016, Mr. Comey had already decided he would issue a statement exonerating Secretary Clinton. That was long before FBI agents finished their work,” they wrote. “The outcome of an investigation should not be prejudged while FBI agents are still hard at work trying to gather the facts.”

While the senators are right to say that prejudgement should never occur in the FBI, Clinton and her colleagues have seemed to benefit from exactly this practice. President Trump isn’t having any of that.
