Cue The Applause: Leaked Memos Prove How Far Clinton’s Team Will Go To ‘Rig’ The Vote

Political propaganda, with a specific goal in mind ....

This is what Donald Trump is talking about when he calls the system “rigged.”

Hillary Clinton’s entrenched support in the American entertainment world is no surprise to anyone halfway awake to the politics of Hollywood and the media elite.

But even conservative Americans who have trained themselves to watch out for bias in their nightly news broadcasts can be caught unawares sometimes, especially when the fix is in with talk shows.

According to memos hacked and released by the website DCLeaks.com, even popular talk show host Steve Harvey — a man most viewers associate with harmless child prodigies and inane “Family Feud” chatter — is part of the propaganda arm of the Hillary Clinton Democrat Party.

The emails were published Wednesday by the Washington Free Beacon.

When Clinton appeared as a guest on Harvey’s talk show back in February, the questions seemed to come to the genial host naturally – the candidate’s choice of pizzas, her dreams as a young girl, even the deplorable state of race relations in the country (which have only gotten worse in the Age of Obama).

But what Harvey’s viewers watching at home had no way of knowing was that every one of the questions was not only expected by Hillary, she had actually received them verbatim a week in advance. Clinton and her prep team had plenty of time to craft answers.

“Steve is known to be a host who goes out of his way to make his guests feel comfortable,” two Clinton aides wrote in a memo to the candidate a week before the actual interview. “We coordinated closely with the show’s producers on the script and format of the show.”

Boy, did they coordinate closely.

According to the Free Beacon, Clinton staff, “worked with Harvey to craft the structure of the interview, and briefed the Democratic presidential nominee ahead of time on the precise wording of Harvey’s questions.”

The questions touched on Clinton’s granddaughter, her preference for deep dish or thin crust pizza, her campaign’s “great start,” efforts to bridge America’s racial divide, and her support for gun control policies.

Watching the show, the interview looks absolutely normal. Most of Clinton’s answers are stock responses for any candidate who’s spent most of her life in the public eye. But what’s really galling about this is the degree of acting involved.

Not a word of it, apparently, was spontaneous. At one point, Clinton even offers a fake “oh, my” when Harvey displays a picture of the former first lady when she was a girl of 12, with aspirations to be an astronaut.

Here’s what really was happening, according to the memos obtained by the Free Beacon:

“During this segment Steve will take a trip down memory lane with YOU to talk about the different moments of YOUR life displayed in the photographs below,” the memo explained photos of Clinton that Harvey pulled up on screen as she discussed her childhood, education, relationship with her husband, and election to the U.S. Senate.

Check out a portion of the show here. Note the audience’s reaction. Would it have been the same if they’d known what a scripted dog-and-pony show they were part of?

It isn’t all just popcorn and cotton candy and girlhood dreams, though.

Harvey used Clinton’s visit to record segments for a later show, where he explored the very serious matter of the lead poisoning in the water supply in Flint, Michigan. The scripted questions for that were provided to Clinton in advance as well, the Free Beacon reported.

The political motive was obvious. As the Free Beacon reported:

According to the memo, Clinton’s staff saw Harvey’s show as an effective and low-risk way to reach out to female and African American voters. They also noted recent episodes of the show that focused on issues that Clinton had stressed during her campaign.

In other words, it was political propaganda, aimed at a specific segment of the voting population, with a specific political goal in mind. The seemingly relaxed setting just made it all the more convincing and effective. Third Reich propagandist Leni Riefenstahl couldn’t have done it better.

It’s no wonder liberals flipped out when “The Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon treated his viewers to an authentically entertaining interview with Republican candidate Donald Trump.

And it’s no wonder Americans respond when Trump complains the system is “rigged.”
