Your Daily Bread for Life.
 D. James Kennedy:

Spiritual Snobbishness... How welcome are strangers to our churches?

One man who showed a snobbishness was the older brother of the prodigal. The father was joyous for his son’s return but the older brother was jealous. Often prodigals are not welcome even today. We are quite willing to have respectable folks but let the old drunk come in and the drug addict and some people will raise their eye brows. Jesus came to seek and save those who were lost and that includes us. It is only by the grace of God that any of us are saved.
 (unquote James Kennedy)

Patrick henry watched a man being hanged and said, “But for the grace of God, there fo I..”

Pearl’s Poem:
 Lighter Side of Hell

“If you have two coats and your neighbor none...but you never noticed that he needed one...If your wallet’s fat but you shun the poor...and you don’t know what you should be thankful for....You’re on the lighter side of hell...where the (so called) christians dwell...when the way seems right to man.  But the devil knows it well...for you’re underneath his spell...in the great deceiver’s hand. If you see your brother in the grip of sin...but you never talk about the Lord with him...If you turn your nose up with your righteous view...and you think that’s just the way the Lord would do...You’re on the Lighter side of hell...where the (so called) christians dwell...where the way seems right to man...But the devil knows it well...for you’re underneath his spell...in the great deceiver’s hand. If your confidence is built upon the flesh...you could be drowning in your own self righteousness. He who heals the blind can set the prisoner free...and there’s a path to lead you out through Calvary...From the lighter side of hell...where the (so called) christians dwell..where the way seemed right to man.
