Many argue that the release of the report detailing post 9/11 CIA actions did not really produce anything new and was politically motivated by a lame duck Democrat controlled committee out to smear the CIA and George Bush. Maybe, maybe not.
Perhaps some of the "enhanced" interrogation techniques were "over board". We can argue both sides as to whether or not it produced actionable intelligence.
Which brings us to the methods of the enemy. The brutality of ISIS is well known, but what they are doing to children is beyond even sadistic human behavior. Cutting children in half and then beheading them can only be described as demonic blood lust. Tearing people apart is another old technique for execution. source

ISIS militants behead children who refuse to accept Islam.

On Monday, the UK Independent said that according to Canon Andrew White, a clergyman known as the "vicar of Baghdad," militant Islamists with ISIS beheaded four young Christian children in Iraq for refusing to convert to Islam. In an interview with the Orthodox Christian Network, White said the incident took place in a Christian enclave close to Baghdad.
ISIS, he said, has hounded Christians out of Iraq. He also said "they killed in huge numbers, they chopped their children in half, they chopped their heads off, and they moved north and it was so terrible what happened."
One day, he added, militants “came to one of our people the other day, one of the Christians." They reportedly ordered one adult man to convert to Islam, threatening to murder his children if he refused.
“He was desperate, he said the words," White said. "And then he phoned me, and said, ‘Abouna [Father], I said the words, does that mean that Yeshua doesn’t love me anymore?’ I said, ‘Yeshua still loves you, he will always love you.'"
The militants then turned to the children and ordered them to follow Mohammed. But, he added, they refused to turn from their Christian faith.
“The children, all under 15, four of them, said no, we love Yeshua, we have always loved we have always followed Yeshua," White said. "Yeshua has always been with us."
“They said: ‘Say the words,'" he added. "They said ‘No, we can’t.’ They chopped all their heads off. How do you respond to that? You just cry."
It's not the first time White has reported atrocities committed against children by ISIS militants. In August, he said fighters with the Islamic State, as it now calls itself, cut a five-year-old boy he baptized in half.
“I’m almost in tears because I’ve just had somebody in my room whose little child was cut in half,” he said. “I baptized his child in my church in Baghdad. This little boy, they named him after me – he was called Andrew.”
Another witness said ISIS militants buried women and children alive in mass graves. One woman was reportedly tied to two vehicles and torn in two. Another report claimed the leader of ISIS gave followers permission to eat babies, but that report has not been independently verified.
This is not the first report of atrocities against children by Islamic militants. Last year, one report said jihadists stopped a bus full of Kurds, killing everyone on board. One of those beheaded was a 40-day-old infant. Another report said ISIS radicals have "systematically beheaded" Christian children in Mosul.
White, who runs the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East, said he has also been targeted by ISIS with death threats. According to the Independent, he left Iraq on the orders of the Archbishop of Canterbury and now lives in Israel.
