Beloved, I'm prepared
for Your return!
You'll be here any
second; how I yearn!
The guests have all
arrived, the low and royal
My Lord, the feast is
set, the band is tuned!
The signs are showing that
the time is near.
You'll see that even
nature's so festooned!
Anticipation's great,
though not in fear.
I look upon the clouds
where You will come!
Is this my feet arising
from the ground?
I see Your light
approach; the angels thrum!
Behold! I hear a
distant trumpet sound!
Lord Jesus, in Your glory You arrive!
The wedding day is here! We are alive!
