"A TALE OF TWO PRESIDENTS"
(A poem by Joe Esposito)
George W Bush stays silent but Barack cannot do the same
W is still Obama's favorite target in his nauseating blame game
How many damn times have we heard it's Bush's fault??
W's head must be spinning from Obama's endless assault
When anything goes right Obama is quick to accept praise
He doesn't realize he's added quite a bit to the country's malaise
Iraq is in turmoil and to be honest it's in pretty much of a rout
It was George Bush who first went in Obama is quick to point out
These two men are polar opposites as different as can be
W never spent close to the time that Obama spends on the golf tee
Bush showed great leadership and was not afraid to make a decision
Obama hesitates plenty becoming a an object of great derision
Bush was not that articulate and with this I'm sure you would concur
Obama has proven to be a babbling idiot without his TelePrompTer
But it's in leadership and stewardship that they are worlds apart
We saw in W a decisive course in the war on terror that he did chart
The military saw in Bush a Commander in Chief they held in high
esteem
With Barack Obama I'm certain that they loathe him to an extreme
Releasing five Taliban jihadists is something Bush would never have
done
He was relentless in his purpose to have all of them on the run
But in personal integrity, honesty and love of Country W truly stands
out
With Obama it's lie after lie and political scheming is what it's all
about
Two men. George W Bush and Barack Hussein Obama. Put them side by
side
One you cannot help but love but for the other it's contempt you cannot
hide!
"The Tyranny That Confronts All Of Us"
Into the valley of darkness this tyrant bring us in
To him lying and deceiving is not in any way a sin
The behavior of this man whose rule we're under
has so intentionally torn our beloved country asunder
With malice in his cold heart he acts so recklessly
He has proven to be dishonest and very untrustworthy
Never had we such evil occupying the Oval Office
In electing this man twice something truly went amiss
Now we are paying dearly for what a bare majority has done
He is a master of deceit for look at all the mistruths he has spun
As a nation we've become apathetic as now tyranny has taken hold
In its firm grip we are firmly in. Could this have ever been
foretold?
The world about us is crumbling. We are now not in a position to lead
Our President is but a mere weakling. Fecklessness is surely his
creed
The political opposition is fractured as they for their party's soul
Our demagogue sees an opening. To divide is his primary goal
We are caught in the middle as our politicians keep earning our
disgust
Something has to be done very quickly. This is necessary. It is a
must
Those in DC serve much too long. A house cleaning is needed without a
doubt
A tallying cry must be heard. It's high time we throw these damn bums
out!!
