Christmas is right around the corner. People are getting excited, stores and shopping centers are bustling with customers. It’s so easy to get caught up in all of the hype that we often forget just what Christmas is all about.
Let us remember the reason for this season. That is Jesus Christ! Celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior.
While it is, in my opinion, fine to celebrate Christmas with decorations and gifts, let us first and foremost remember our Lord Jesus. What He was brought into this world for, what He died for, and what He represents to us.
Without Jesus there is no Christmas, just an empty holiday without meaning and devoid of life.
With Jesus, Christmas is life! It’s a celebration of our Lord, His birth into this world, His sacrifice for us, and His gift of salvation to us! Let’s first remember these things and give thanks to the one deserving of our admiration, worship, and praise! Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the reason!
