Obama ‘One of the Most Practically Non-Partisan Presidents’ Ever
After she gets the hell out of leaves politics, Nancy Pelosi should seriously consider a career in stand-up comedy. Case in point: In an interview with USA Today, San Francisco’s finest called Barack Obama “one of the most practically non-partisan presidents” she’s ever seen. Let me know when you've stopped laughing.
In the interview with USA Today’s editorial board Friday, which was focused on the federal deficit and government spying, our “favorite” moonbat said:
“Here’s the thing – the president is one of the most practically non-partisan presidents I have seen in the White House. I've been there since Ronald Reagan, and he really is working to try to get some bipartisan agreement. They've been working very hard to try to get the Senate consensus or some agreement on how we can avoid a shutdown of government but also how you can even remove all doubt that we’re not going to honor the full faith in credit of the United States of America by lifting the debt ceiling,”
Unbelievable. Although, on Planet Pelosi, things are generally viewed a bit “differently.” Anyway, I thought I’d dig up a few quotes to illustrate Obama’s “practically non-partisan” and “very hard” he’s “working to on that (pretend) bipartisan agreement. Here’s O during the final news conference of his first term in January:
“They have a particular vision about what government should and should not do. So they are suspicious about government’s commitments, for example, to make sure that seniors have decent health care as they get older. They have suspicions about Social Security. They have suspicions about whether government should make sure that kids in poverty are getting enough to eat, or whether we should be spending money on medical research.”
Or, maybe Pelosi was thinking about this comment from O – as he stood at the Mexican border and ridiculed Republicans who first want to secure our borders as part of immigration reform:
“Maybe they’ll need a moat. Maybe they’ll need alligators in the moat.”
Or heck, maybe it was even this 2010 gem from our “non-partisan” president, on Hispanic radio station Univision, in reference to the then-upcoming midterm elections:
“If Latinos sit out the election instead of saying, ‘We’re going to punish our enemies and we’re gonna reward our friends who stand with us on issues that are important to us,’ if they don’t see that kind of upsurge in voting in this election, then I think it’s going to be harder and that’s why I think it’s so important that people focus on voting on November 2.”
Barack Obama is a lot of things, Nancy,, but bi-partisan ain't one of ‘em. Moreover, he is arguably the most polarizing president in America since the Civil War. Hell, O has preached class warfare since the early days of the 2008 campaign. He has incessantly charged the Republicans with engaging in a “war on women.” He has done his damnedest to fire up the LGBT community against the GOP. He has enraged Jews and Gentiles alike in working to undermine Bibi Netanyahu and America’s staunch ally, Israel.
Yep, the list goes on, Nancy. Maybe you can bone up on a few of O’s greatest hits, and use them in your first stand-up gig to illustrate your “practically non-partisan” point.
Nancy Pelosi: The gift that keeps on giving.
