Have you read the Immigration Bill presented by the Gang of 8...actually include the President and it may be gang of 9? Laura Ingram debated with Bill O'Reilly about the "Loop holes found in this bill one could drive trucks through." She stated she had read the bill. I believe her as she most certainly knows what she stated. This bill is full of loop holes! However, I will disagree one can drive trucks, even semis through. I suggest one could sail the Titanic full steam ahead right through literally hole after hole until they circumvented the globe. Governor Rick Perry
of Texas suggested to Senator Marco Rubio of Florida who has been out front on
this so called comprehension reform to "drop this thing and run." I
suggest after reading all this monstrosity that Senator Rubio do the same.
Instead of going into
a long winded post about all the loopholes let me zero in on one that is very
disturbing and cite what I see as very dangerous in that one loophole. You can
look at the bill and find in the table of contents "the Severability"
Claus. If I could find a way to copy and paste here, I would as it is very
short, but it seems the document I found does not allow me to do so. The claus
is very short and in essence says that if any part of the Immigration Bill is
found UNCONSTITUTIONAL then those parts will be stricken but yet the bill still
stands. For the record as I and another friend read this thing I did not run
across the "Severability Claus" first...she did. Still, after I
caught up to speed I most certainly agreed with her thoughts on this matter.
What we see is that
with this claus Immigration Lawyers are lining up already. This bill creates
another layer of Immigrant, but it also creates a new class of citizen...a
second rate citizen if you will. Immigration lawyers will argue the 14th and
15th Amendments in court and viola'...we have now found a full fledged citizen
who may or may not have to wait, pay fines ect. for breaking our laws.
Now let me be clear
too, I have compassion. I too know what I have witnessed first hand from my
visits to the border of West Texas. I met a family who came to the US ranch
owned by friends of ours who simply walked across the Rio from their homes one
could throw rocks pecking off the windows of. It was that close to the river
border of the state of Texas. These Mexican's were hard working, honest, and in
short very likable doing chores for us guest and the land owners who actually
had the ranch as a vacation home. One little girl was so sweet she and I really
bonded. She knew nothing of such delights in life as my grandkids. Walmart was
not a reality in fact they had no stores what so ever...heck they did not have
TV or even electricity. Before I left I cleaned out all my grandson's toys in
my pickup giving them to her. She also very much admired my gold cross necklace
that was a keepsake from a long departed loved one of mine. I gave it to her.
Her mother, as I did understand her broken English said it was too much. I told
her Jesus would not think so.
This area is now
controlled by the Zeta Drug Lords. The Zeta's are brutal. Many of those mass
murders, cut off heads ect we know of is the handy work of the Zeta's. I have
since lost contact with that Mexican family as our friends sold out the ranch
but I pray that gold cross has kept them safe.
If they are here in
the state of Texas seeking shelter and protection, I am all for some sort of
refugee assistance but this Immigration Reform only purpose seems to be make
full fledge citizens of all the illegal’s it possibly can...even some of those
Zeta's who have snuck in here with the pack mules carrying the illegal drugs
upon our communities. Those seeking to enter into our nation the legal way, I
too see not where this bill actually addresses the long, costly and rigorous
path for them. In short it is simply an 'AMNESTY BILL.' We have seen this movie
before, heard all the promises that are still to this day broken, played the
game and won the tee shirt of what an abject failure the Federal Government has
been for decades of lack of security and immigration reform of our nation.
