Dear Friends,
Sadly, conservatives/Republicans do not control the
either or both state legislative houses in New Jersey
or Delaware and the 2012 elections only marginally
improved our situation in Delaware. (New Jersey did not have state legislative
contests in 2012.)
The good news in PA is that after the recent
elections,conservative/Republicans
have maintained control of the legislative bodies of both the
House and the Senate. We also have a Republican governor.
So why is it, that after two years in power, we have had few very
legislative victories.
There has simply been little progress on legislation issues ranging
from Privatization of State Stores--to Right to Work--to Opting out of
ObamaCare.
Why is that you ask? The simple answer--a lack of
leadeship--especially in the PA Senate.
PA Republican State Senators will be voting on
leadership roles today.
We ask you to immediately call the Senators below and ask them not to
retain Dominic Pillegi as Senate Majority leader.
Whether the issue be opting out of Obamacare or Voter ID,
Senator Pillegi's office has stalled reform in so many areas. We desperately
need new leadership.
To reach any of the following Republican Senators,
call the Harrisburg Capitol Switchboard at 717.787.5920. Tell them to
choose another leader.
Richard Alloway
We thank you, in advance, for
your attention in this important matter!
On behalf of the PAC Board of Delegates,
Don Adams, President
