Romney And GOP MIA: YOU Must Lead To Save America

President Obama keeps telling us that this campaign is about two competing visions for America. This is one Obama statement we actually agree with.

History shows that Republicans win only when they nationalize the election and present a vision of the future that is based on shrinking government, encouraging personal and economic freedom and advancing the conservative social agenda.

Obama and the Democrats have made it clear they want to fundamentally remake American society. Millions of Americans are deeply troubled by the Democratic Party’s advocacy of same-sex marriage, abortion on demand and the vast growth of federal government dependency that Obama’s policies have created.

Unfortunately Governor Romney is MIA in this competition, and isn’t offering his own vision of America to compete with Obama’s truly radical vision of the future. The GOP establishment, firm in its belief that the only way to win is to run a content-free campaign, appears to have no intention of offering a competing vision either.

In their advertising and day-to-day campaign messaging, the Romney campaign and the Republican Party aren’t even in the ball game, let alone on the airwaves, on the issues that win elections for Republicans. It is going to be up to conservatives to fill in the blanks and answer the challenge of the Democrats’ radical secular liberalism that the establishment GOP prefers to ignore.

Of course we are not going to abandon the presidential campaign – preventing a second Obama term is too important – but we can have an even greater impact by making sure key states elect Republicans to the United States Senate.  Cont. Reading
