No longer is Barack Obama dissing people who cling to their Bibles.

More and more, as Election Day nears, he is quoting from it, paraphrasing from it and completely distorting its contents in an effort to rationalize his own collectivist, multiculturalist and
globalist agenda.

You can see this for yourself in new document titled “Leading With Values: People of Faith for Obama,” paid for by his campaign.


It begins with a quote from him: “Treating others as you want to be treated. Requiring much from those who have been given so much. Living by the principle that we are our brother’s keeper. Caring for the poor and those in need. These values are old. They can be found in many denominations and many faiths, among many believers and among many non-believers … And they’re the ones that have defined my own faith journey. And today, with as many challenges as we face, these are the values I believe we’re going to have to return to in the hopes that God will buttress our efforts.”

To the untrained, undisciplined observer, this might sound good.

But what Obama is talking about is government playing God. What it amounts to is a wealth-distributionist manifesto disguised as a biblical creed.

Let’s take this apart.
In Matthew 7:12, Jesus/Yeshua says: “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them.” This is an individual commandment. It is not designed to be coerced or extracted from individuals through the power of government.
Luke 12:48 says, in part: “For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.” This is Jesus/Yeshua speaking. He is not suggesting the government should require more of the wealthy. He is talking about Himself – God.
The term “brother’s keeper” comes up one time in the Bible. It is in a question from Cain after he slew his brother, Abel, in Genesis 4:9. When God asks Cain, “Where is thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?” Are we as individuals commanded to help the poor and needy? Yes. But it is not the government’s role to usurp that privilege from us.

Obama’s values and faith statement goes on from there to cite 1 Corinthians 12:26: “And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.” But this is not a reference to a nation. It’s a clear reference to the body of believers in Jesus/Yeshua.

But he uses this out-of-context quote as his inspiration for the following: The government providing “basic economic security for everyone who is willing and able to work, including jobs with a salary you can raise a family and save for retirement on, affordable health care that’s there for you when you need it most, and opportunity through education.”

He goes on to suggest it is his own biblical values that drive his compulsion for:
a government tax system that redistributes wealth;
a national, top-down government-run health-care system;
military interventionism around the world, even when no clear national interests are at stake;
unconstitutional foreign aid programs that not only redistribute tax dollars between Americans, but also with other nations;
further intrusion into education by the federal government;
rewarding those who entered the country illegally ahead of those who attempted to immigrate under the rule of law;
and more and more spending on programs that will only increase dependency rather than encourage liberty, self-government and personal responsibility;
he even justifies the killing of unborn children as part of his “People of Faith” statement.

It’s quite an amazing document.

It all reminds me of another scripture Obama didn’t mention – Luke 21:8: “Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.”

That’s really what Obama and the collectivist, multiculturalist and globalist agenda is all about – coming in the name of God.

One other verse, Matthew 7:15, comes to mind: “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”

Obama Administration Will Pay Companies to Violate the Law

The Obama Administration’s disregard for the law has struck again—and this time, it’s encouraging others to violate the law at taxpayer expense.
That’s worth saying again: The Obama Administration is encouraging people to violate a law, and promising that it will use taxpayer money to cover fines incurred from this action.

The law: The law in question is called the WARN Act, and it requires that federal contractors send employees layoff notices 60 days before a plant closing or mass layoff.

The inconvenience: Massive defense spending cuts under sequestration are scheduled to hit on January 2, 2013. Defense contractors affected by the budget cuts would have to issue notice letters to employees by November 2 (four days before the election) to meet the January 2 start date for the spending cuts.

The penalty taxpayers would pay: Employers who violate the WARN Act are liable to their former employees for “back pay for each day of a violation” and “benefits under an employee benefit plan,” as well as a penalty of $500 for each day that notice has not been sent to the local government where the layoffs will occur.
As an example, Lockheed CEO Bob Stevens has said that 123,000 of his employees would receive layoff notices. If companies fail to meet the WARN Act’s deadline, lawsuits from employees could result—but the White House has provided a taxpayer-funded guarantee as a way to counter their fears of enormous litigation costs. This guarantee is not only unprecedented but also potentially unlawful.
This week, President Obama sent mixed signals about the fate of these budget cuts. He suggested at Monday’s debate that sequestration wouldn’t happen, but then days later indicated to an Iowa newspaper that it would.
It remains to be seen whether companies will take the Administration up on its offer. And government contractors who rely on this “guarantee” from the White House do so at their peril: If this Administration or a new Administration changes its mind and withdraws the guarantee, those contractors will have no cause of action against the government for the cost of WARN Act violations.
If this were a joke, the punchline would be that President Obama supported the WARN Act when he was a Senator—and even wanted to require that employers give more notice. In 2007, he argued that contractors should have to give 90 days’ notice.
Then-Senator Obama said:

American workers who have committed themselves to their employers expect in return to be treated with a modicum of respect and fairness. Failing to give workers fair warning…ignores their need to prepare for the transition.…Many of these workers support families that are living from paycheck to paycheck, squeezed by the demands of rising health care costs, the declining value of their homes, and wages that have been stagnant for decades. It adds insult to injury to close a plant without warning employees.

But this is no joke. This is the ultimate abuse of the President’s executive authority: inducing federal contractors to violate a federal law and promising to use taxpayer funds to reimburse them for any resulting liability that they incur for violating that law.
Refusing to follow federal law has become the hallmark of this Administration, but the White House’s latest arrogant, unlawful ploy goes even further and may end up costing the American taxpayer a great deal of money.

When is lying and deception acceptable? To civilized westerners, i.e., non-Muslims, never, although it's overlooked when done to spare someone from being unnecessarily hurt by the truth, as in white lies. However, Islam has taqiyya, in which lying and deception is intentionally done to deceive non-believers in order to defeat them. It's something we are seeing every day, abroad and at home.

Libya and the so-called "Arab Spring" are both perfect examples of taqiyya successfully used to deceive and defeat the infidels — us. Obama used our military to oust Libya's big-mouthed, but mostly toothless, dictator, Muammar Gaddafi, claiming his intervention would allow democratic moderates to assert themselves. In reality, this created a vacuum into which al-Queda, already entrenched in the "rebel" establishment, inserted itself and expanded rapidly and exponentially. The culmination was the well-planned attack on our consulate in Benghazi, facilitated by taqiyya-practicing Libyan security guards, that resulted in the murders of three American embassy personnel, and the rape and murder of our ambassador. Obama claims that he was out of the loop.

In Egypt, a similar scenario played out, except it was the Muslim Brotherhood — the parent organization of al-Queda — that was allowed by Obama to come to power. Here, too, Obama told us that the radical jihadists were really peaceful moderates, and that they really would never try to take power by winning the presidential election, which is exactly what they went on to do. This has led to anti-American riots, featuring attacks on our embassy, flag burning, and demands for the universal imposition of harsh, 7th century Shariah law. It has also spawned attacks on women who were beaten and stripped, including their own protesters, and two female reporters, one of whom was sexually assaulted. Talk about your War on Women.

In Syria, too, Obama is supplying the anti-Assad forces with weapons, even though they are allied, if not dominated by al-Queda. And in Afghanistan, our supposed Commander-in-Chief has imposed so-called rules of engagement that have driven American deaths beyond the 2,000 mark. For the "winner" of a Nobel Peace Prize, Obama seems to be up to his big, flapping ears in military intervention in other people's countries. He has also stopped all training for our forces that actually looks at what radical Islam is, and thus they have been especially vulnerable to taqiyya that has allowed jihadists to pose as government loyalists, and then commit mass murder on our unsuspecting troops.

And now we get to this election's traditional "October Surprise" — read: outrageous dirty trick given a free ride by the Fifth Column media. This time, Obama is reported to have cut a deal with the radical, jihadists and militant Islamist rulers of Iran, those demanders of the immediate destruction of Israel and all Jews and the Great Satan — America — to drop our most effective sanctions, if they say they will halt the part of their nuke program that could be used to build the bombs they so clearly intend to build. And it appears that is what the Imams have agreed to do. Taqiyya.

That the Obama administration would enter into such an obviously bogus deal is not simply an insult to the American voter, whom they seem to believe is so stupid as to think that this is a brilliant foreign policy coup, but another slap and spit in the face of the citizens of Iran. The sanctions they are going to remove have brought Iran to the verge of economic collapse, with the currency nearing Weimar Republic worthlessness. The majority of Persians — for that's how the non-Islamist majority see themselves — are ready to revolt against the government whose radical jihadism and anti-Western policies have brought the country to its present degenerate state. Again, as with the uprising after the fraudulent 2009-2010 election, Obama is pulling the rug out from under the secularists, allowing freedom to be crushed and radical Islamists to cling to power. And Obama and the Fifth Column media want us to believe this is a good thing.

Loyal Americans have burned into their memories Obama's scrawny backside as he bowed low to the Ruler of Mecca, the King of Saudi Arabia. It has been suggested that his bowing to other rulers as he continued his World Apologize for America Tour, was just to cover up the genuineness of his submission to Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. Submission, after all, is one of the Pillars of Islam. Taqiyya.

It has become glaringly obvious that Obama — a self-proclaimed Christian, follower of a sect that appears to be more Muslim than Christian, whose father and Kenyan relatives are/were all Muslims, who was raised as a Muslim, attended Muslim school where all that is taught is the Koran, recites verses from it in good Arabic, who always refers to said book as the "Holy Koran," but refers to the Christian and Jewish books as simply the Bible — it has become glaringly obvious that Obama, who wrote in Audacity of Hope that "I will stand with the Muslims..." has been practicing taqiyya, and that we are the enemy being deceived.

What could this breed if not the sort of empty narcissism on display
Every time Obama speaks? In 2008, many who agreed that he lacked
Executive qualifications nonetheless raved about Obama's oratory
Skills, intellect, and cool character. Those people - conservatives
Included - ought now to be deeply embarrassed.

The man thinks and speaks in the hoariest of clichés, and
that's when he has his teleprompter in front of him; when the
prompter is absent he can barely think or speak at all.

Not one original idea has ever issued from his mouth – it's all
warmed-over Marxism of the kind that has failed over and over again
for 100 years.

And what about his character? Obama is constantly blaming anything and
everything else for his troubles. Bush did it; it was bad luck; I
inherited this mess. It is embarrassing to see a president so willing
to advertise his own powerlessness, so comfortable with his own
incompetence.

But really, what were we to expect? The man has never been responsible
for anything, so how do we expect him to act responsibly?

In short: our president is a small and small-minded man, with neither
the temperament nor the intellect to handle his job.

When you understand that, and only when you understand that, will the
current erosion of liberty and prosperity make sense. It could not
have gone otherwise with such a man in the Oval Office.

ET, you are a breath of fresh air in my day. Thank you for this very clear and very honest message – and for others of yours that I have caught.
As you say: It’s a shame that a really good, solid black man couldn’t have been the first of his race to make it to the highest office in the land. And whoever that might have been, I hope he would have appointed you to fill some position of responsibility in his administration. That way, we could have really and truly known that he was governing with common sense.
Keep telling it like it is, fellow Citizen.
I don’t consider this guy who made this video black or white but a real American.
But, he’s right, the only reason why Obama won the election and is getting away with dictatorship is because he’s black, or part black and part white. He’s a mere tool, puppet to the puppet-masters behind the planned demise of this country.
Who are these liberals? They must be the mentally ill with money. Everything is upside down and I am pretty sure it is intentional. I am a white Man and I would have voted for Adam West or Herman Cain for president. They are great people with tons of experience. They love God and they love America.
Their backgrounds prove they can be trusted and relied upon. As long as they are Christians, who cares what color they are?
Atheists and Muslims cannot honor and protect our Constitution the way the Christians will. We are a Christian country that respects all people and all religions but our core is what keeps us stable whether one is a believer or not of our bible.
I am a Republican but if my party became corrupt, I would vote them all out. What Obama has taught us is that we cannot trust our government and we must keep vigilance over the leaders we elect.
We have to know who we are voting for!!
Liberals have caused most of the problems in this country. They want to be free to do immoral things but they do not want to have to deal with the consequences of their errors. There is a right and moral path in life. Our bible gives us the instructions on how to get on it and progress.
The principles and values of the bible has brought blessings that we cannot contain and has allowed us to help less fortunate peoples and countries. America is not an imperialist country. This is a lie. We have been the light of the world with our compassion, our generosity, and our spirit. There is nothing wrong with helping other countries be free and prosperous. Keep your eye on God and our bible and you will recognize the liars when you see them.

A picture worth a thousand warnings

The canonization of Marianne Cope, along with Kateri Tekakwitha, on October 21, occasioned the publication of a stunning photograph showing Marianne standing beside the funeral bier of St. Damien in Kalaupapa, Molokai. That was in 1889, and the picture is so sharp that it could have been taken today. It must be the first photograph of two saints together. The holy friendships of Teresa of Avila with John of the Cross, and Francis de Sales with Jane de Chantal illuminated civilization before photography.
St. Damien’s body is scarred with leprosy but vested in the fine chasuble in which he used to offer Mass. St. Marianne, in her timeless religious habit, shows no sorrow for she obviously knows she is looking at a saint, not knowing that she is one herself.
Studying that photograph, one thinks of how hard they worked, not only among the outcast lepers, but all their lives. Damien, born Jozef de Veuster in Belgium, was a farm boy, and Marianne left school in Utica, New York, after the eighth grade to support her family by working in factories.
Not in the picture was their helper, Joseph Dutton, a Civil War veteran who was so traumatized by the ravages of war and his broken marriage that he became an alcoholic. He reformed his life, went to Molokai and worked with the lepers for 45 years — cleaning latrines, scrubbing floors, and binding sores — until his death in 1931. Their great happiness would have been clouded to see how much unhappiness there is in our land today.
As a typical eighteenth-century rationalist, Edward Gibbon was cynical about Christianity, but as an historian he analyzed the decline of once-great civilizations in terms of natural virtue: “In the end, more than freedom, they wanted security. They wanted a comfortable life, and they lost it all — security, comfort, and freedom. When the Athenians finally wanted not to give to society but for society to give to them, when the freedom they wished for most was freedom from responsibility, then Athens ceased to be free and was never free again.”
I expect that Gibbon would have understood modern saints no better than he did the early martyrs and confessors, but he would have seen in them a selfless energy that builds noble societies, and the neglect of such energy pulls them down. Our own nation is facing these realities as it decides what it wants to be. The present crisis in culture cannot be resolved if it is addressed only in terms of economics and international relations. The real leaders are not those who hypnotize naïve people into thinking that they are the source of hope. Those who can rescue nations from servility to selfishness are not on slick campaign posters, but in stark black and white photographs like that taken on Molokai in 1889.

There’s been a lot of yelling and protesting over billboards put up by anti-vote fraud groups that just accurately state the penalty for committing vote fraud. That’s being depicted as an attempt to suppress the vote. But while that’s getting all the press, some genuine attempts to suppress the vote are going on all around us. In Florida, longtime Republican voters have received fake letters that look like official state correspondence, questioning their citizenship and trying to scare them away from the polls. In Virginia, Patrick Moran, son of Rep. Jim Moran, quit his dad’s reelection campaign after conservative filmmaker James O’Keefe caught him on a hidden camera, allegedly helping an undercover agent think up ways to fraudulently cast votes on behalf of people who weren’t planning to vote. And in Florida, Virginia and Indiana, voters have received phone calls telling them they could vote by phone and didn’t have to go to the polls. Needless to say, that’s not true. The original argument against voter ID laws was that vote fraud is so rare, they’re not necessary. You can see why, now, opponents are having to come up with new arguments.
Earlier this week, President Obama told Jay Leno that he opposes laws requiring voters to show a valid ID because America is strengthened when more people vote. I’d agree with that, except I’d argue that it’s only true when more people vote illegally. Every fraudulent vote cancels out the vote of a legitimate voter and robs him or her of the right to have a say in the government. Illegal votes don’t increase democracy they reduce it and debase it.

At Andrews Air Force Base, where the families had gathered to meet the caskets of their dead family members, Joe Biden walks up to the grieving father of one of the SEALs and says, “Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls?”

 

"The One"

How's this for apocalyptic literature. This was written by a pastor's wife in biblical prose as a commentary of current events.  It is brilliant. 

 And it came to pass in the Age of Insanity that the people of the land called America , having lost their morals, their initiative, and their will to defend their liberties, chose as their Supreme Leader that person known as "The One."

He emerged from the vapors with a message that had no meaning; but he hypnotized the people telling them, "I am sent to save you." My lack of experience, my questionable ethics, my monstrous ego, and my association with evil doers are of no consequence. I shall save you with Hope and Change. Go, therefore, and proclaim throughout the land that he who proceeded  me is evil, that he has defiled the nation,
And that all he has built must be destroyed. And the people rejoiced, for even though they knew not what "The One" would do, he had promised that it was good; and they believed. And "The One" said "We live in  the greatest country in the world. Help me change everything about it!" And the people said, "Hallelujah! Change is good!" Then  he said, "We are going to tax the rich fat-cats." And the people said "Sock it to them!" "And redistribute their wealth." And the people said, "Show us the money!" And the he said,
"Redistribution of wealth is good for everybody.."

And Joe the plumber asked, " Are you kidding me? You're going to steal my money and give it to the deadbeats??"  And "The One" ridiculed and taunted him, and Joe's personal records were hacked and publicized.

One lone reporter asked, "Isn't that Marxist policy?" And she was banished from the kingdom.

Then a citizen asked, "With no foreign relations experience and having zero military experience or knowledge, how will you deal with radical terrorists?" And "The One" said, "Simple. I shall sit with them and talk with them and show them how nice we really are; and they will forget that they ever wanted to kill us all!" And the people said, "Hallelujah!! We are safe at last, and we can beat our weapons into free cars for the people!"

Then "The One" said "I shall give 95% of you lower taxes." And one, lone voice said, "But 40% of us don't pay ANY taxes." So "The One" said, "Then I shall give you some of the taxes the fat-cats pay!" And the people said, "Hallelujah! Show us the money!" Then "The One" said, "I shall tax your Capital Gains when you sell your homes!" And the people yawned and the slumping housing market collapsed. 

And He said. "I shall mandate employer-funded health care for every worker and raise the minimum wage. And I shall give every person unlimited healthcare and medicine and transportation to the clinics." And the people said, "Give me some of that!" Then he said, "I shall penalize employers who ship jobs overseas."
And the people said, "Where's my rebate check?"

Then "The One" said, "I shall bankrupt the coal industry and electricity rates will skyrocket!" And the people
said, "Coal is dirty, coal is evil, no more coal! But we don't care for that part about higher electric rates." So "The One" said, Not to worry. If your rebate isn't enough to cover your expenses, we shall bail you out.
Just sign up with the ACORN and you troubles are over!"

Then He said, "Illegal immigrants feel scorned and slighted. Let's grant them amnesty, Social Security, free education, free lunches, free medical care, bi-lingual signs and guaranteed housing..." And the people said, "Hallelujah!" and they made him king!

And so it came to pass that employers, facing spiraling costs and ever-higher taxes, raised their prices and
laid off workers. Others simply gave up and went out of business and the economy sank like unto a rock dropped from a cliff.

The bank banking industry was destroyed. Manufacturing slowed to a crawl. And more of the people were without a means of support.

Then "The One" said, "I am the "the One"- The Messiah - and I'm here to save you! We shall just print more money so everyone will have enough!" But our foreign trading partners said unto Him. "Wait a minute. Your dollar is not worth a pile of camel dung! You will have to pay more... And "The One" said, "Wait a minute. That is unfair!!" And the world said, "Neither are these other idiotic programs you have embraced. Lo, you have become a Socialist state and a second-rate power. Now you shall play by our rules!"

And the people cried out, "Alas, alas!! What have we done?" But yea verily, it was too late. The people set upon The One and spat upon him and stoned him, and his name was dung. And the once mighty nation
was no more; and the once proud people were without sustenance or shelter or hope. And the Change "The One" had given them was as like unto a poison that had destroyed them and like a whirlwind that consumed all that they had built.

And the people beat their chests in despair and cried out in anguish, "give us back our nation and our pride and our hope!!"  But it was too late, and their homeland was no more.

You may think this a fairy tale, but it's not. It's happening RIGHT NOW!  WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT?

Exorcist’s Blatty Horrified by Georgetown’s Crisis of Faith

It’s no Halloween tale. Sadly, The Exorcist author William Peter Blatty’s account of Georgetown University’s failings—published in today’s Georgetown campus newspaper, The Hoya—is all too true.
But now the master of suspense has Georgetown officials wondering what’s lurking around the next corner. Blatty reminds them that he and other Georgetown patriots are about to file their promised canon law petition, urging Church and University officials to attend to Georgetown’s substantial decline in Catholic identity.
Blatty also asks the Georgetown community to join his Father King Society “to unite students, faculty, parents and alumni to make Georgetown honest, Catholic and better.”

Our new society is named for Fr. Tom King, S.J., who, in 1991, assisted a first canonical petition to stop Georgetown’s slow separation from the Church. That petition asked the Church to strip the university of its Catholic label if it did not stop funding abortion advocacy. Georgetown reversed itself. Soon, we will ask the Church to do something quite different. Our excitement is palpable. Like Jesuit Father Karras, we do it for “love.”

Father Karras, of course, was one of the focal characters in Blatty’s The Exorcist. His doubts about good and evil are at the heart of Blatty’s novel, which is more an exploration of faith than a typical horror story.
Blatty’s tale of Georgetown is both: a rueful story of faith abandoned and trust betrayed, and a horrific scenario for the Catholic Church, whose Faithful sacrificed for more than two centuries to build Georgetown’s reputation.

Of course, the decimation of “Catholic” began long ago when we first looked with envy toward Harvard and reduced the Jesuit curriculum. The dissidents came later, some in Roman collars and others who found personal gain in the movement against Church authority. Georgetown galloped toward secularism; even crucifixes disappeared from classrooms.

Then, in the early 1980s, a top New York public relations firm counseled the university that it was misguided to diminish its Catholic identity. Their report showed how Catholic identity was a valuable “brand” to be exploited in fundraising and recruitment. Georgetown got the memo but pursued a cynical path. In the prose, Latin quotes and other cosmetics, Georgetown would tell the world that it was “Catholic and Jesuit.” At black-tie alumni dinners, a Jesuit would be placed at every table like a flower centerpiece. The march toward secularism and moral relativism continued.

Debate is the servant of truth. In this case, debating whether Georgetown is Catholic has itself become a deception. Some say yes, some say no. But it does not matter what we think. There is only one accrediting agency that gets the last word. In 1990, Pope John Paul II, a former university professor, finally issued a normative constitution for Catholic universities, Ex corde Ecclesiae. Georgetown has a metric, but its leaders have chosen willfully to ignore it.

Blatty has great love for Georgetown. The 1950 graduate attended the University on scholarship. He was a Hoya editor, and his son was a Hoya editor. He thanked Georgetown in The Exorcist for “teaching me how to think.”
As for Georgetown’s Catholic identity, Blatty states flatly, “It is not too late.” His canon law petition will ask whether Church officials agree.
