Swing State poll: Trump in solid position to win re-election

This is not the news that Democrats want to hear, but it is music to the ears of supporters of President Donald Trump.

The president is in prime position to win the 2020 presidential election based on his approval ratings in the key swing states.

Numbers Do Not Lie.

In a series of 10 polls conducted by Survey Monkey, and commissioned by Axios, the president’s approval rating is higher in the former Democrat states he won in 2016 than his national numbers.

In the states that were considered the Democrat’s “blue wall,” the citizens are happy with the president’s job performance.

Wisconsin gave him a 48 percent approval rating. In Michigan, he had a 47 percent rating and in Pennsylvania, he had 46 percent.

He had fantastic ratings in two other swing states, Ohio and Florida, where he got 54 percent and 46 percent respectively.

President Trump currently has a national approval rating of 40 percent.

Democrats Need Work.

The polls also found that five Democrats in Senate races would be defeated by Republicans if the elections were held when the polls were taken.

And three other Democrats senators have approval ratings lower than 50 percent.

“The three most vulnerable senators in the 10 states are Democrats Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Jon Tester of Montana and Claire McCaskill of Missouri. Each of their approval ratings is under or around 50%, while Trump’s is well above that in all three states,” Axios reported.

Democrats have been expecting to win back the House of Representatives and the Senate in the 2018 midterm elections, but the numbers show that the people are happy with having Republicans in charge.

It is tough to convince people to vote for you when your party has spent 8 years sitting on its hands

It is tougher when one year of the opposing party being in control has given the American citizens more of their paychecks to take home and a booming stock market.

More cash in the pocket takes precedence over fighting for men to share women’s bathrooms for the majority of people.
