Herridge – Deep State Plot To Take Down President Trump Moving Quickly

Robert Mueller is in the records procurement and testimony phase of his witch hunt as it now relates directly to the White House and staffers. Catherine Herridge reports that he has made “a broad records request to the White House covering multiple staffers that includes actions taken by President Trump.”

She points to the reporting of the New York Times which states that the “special counsel has thirteen areas of interest, including the firing of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn as well as the firing of former FBI Director James Comey.”

She notes, “The request reportedly included the May Oval Office meeting with Russian officials, where the President met with the Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov. It is alleged by the Times Mr. Trump said firing Comey relieved the pressure on him.”

Herridge says, “A member of the President’s legal team [Atty Ty Cobb] told Fox News ‘Out of respect for the special counsel and his process, the White House does not comment on any specific requests. I can only reaffirm that the White House is committed to cooperating fully with special counsel Mueller.'”

She goes on to point out the frenetic pace of unmasking in the final months of the Obama regime. “Two sources not authorized to speak on the record said the requests from Samantha Power, former US Ambassador to the United Nations, exceeds 260, with one request coming in the days leading up to the inauguration.”

“The House intelligence Committee sent subpoenas in may for the unmasking requests by former CIA Director John Brennan, former National Security Adviser Susan Rice and Power. Records were also requested for ‘presidential’ adviser Ben Rhodes.”

Herridge plays a clip of John Brennan lying to Trey Gowdy on that very topic during House testimony. Gowdy asks specifically, “Do you recall any US Ambassadors asking that names be unmasked?” As Brennan twitches nervously, he responded, “I don’t, I don’t know, maybe it’s ringing a vague bell but I’m not, I could not answer with any confidence.” He also stated he didn’t believe he made any unmasking requests for a specific period of dates, again, a safe non-answer.”

Herridge notes that a representative of Power shifted the question to one of leaking classified information away from one of leaking unmasking, which is an obvious diversionary attempt and not relevant to whether or not the crime and impropriety occurred.
