| Larry Kudlow: I Give Trump a 'B' Grade for His First 6 Months in Office
Economic guru Larry Kudlow gives President Donald Trump a “B” grade for his first six months in office and is optimistic about what the administration can accomplish before year’s end.
Trump “hasn’t succeeded in everything, he made some mistakes,” Kudlow, a Newsmax Finance Insider, told CNBC.
“To my way of thinking, he ended the war against business," said Kudlow, who was an economic adviser to the Trump campaign. "He has ended the war against success and he has ended the war against fossil fuels. And he is looking out for America,” said Kudlow, a radio talk-show host and CNBC senior contributor.
The veteran financial guru and former Ronald Reagan adviser said not only would he give Trump a “pass” on a “pass/fail basis,” but “on a letter basis I'm going to give him a ‘B,’” he explained to CNBC.
“When he gets his tax cut, I'm going to move it to an ‘A,’” said Kudlow, who worked as Reagan’s budget deputy between 1981 and 1985. Kudlow predicted the president can achieve some sort of corporate tax reform by year's end.

Fired FBI Director, James Comey, and special counsel, Robert Mueller, have conjured a devious plan to oust President Trump. Now, the White House is fighting back.
President Trump’s lawyers believe Special Counsel Robert Mueller is overstepping his bounds in his investigation into Russian interference in the election. Now, Trump’s lawyers are compiling a list of Mueller’s numerous conflicts of interest, The Washington Post reported.

Judge Jeanine Pirro perfectly explains one of Mueller’s largest conflicts of interests–his close relationship with the former FBI director James Comey.
“The most important issue is deciding who is telling the truth: Comey or Trump,” Pirro explains. “Bob Mueller is [very close] with Jim Comey. They have spent a lot of years together.”
As Pirro explained, one of Robert Mueller’s primary tasks is to determine whether President Trump obstructed justice when he fired James Comey.
However, Mueller has no oversight from the government as he investigates his close friend’s firing. Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused himself, and the Deputy Attorney General is a witness in the case.
Ultimately, the entire debacle around Mueller was a set-up from the beginning. James Comey was dedicated to ousting President Trump, and he has tasked Mueller with finishing the job.
Mueller is supposed to be investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election, but his investigation immediately morphed into a witch hunt against President Trump. His only aim is to impeach the president, and this has been the plan from the beginning.
Comey forced the Justice Department to hire a special counsel after he broke the law and leaked a government memo accusing President Trump of obstruction of justice. Comey knew this would force Jeff Sessions to appoint a special counsel, and he had Robert Mueller waiting in the wings.
Now, Comey’s old friend Mueller is taking over the mission Comey started in November–to impeach President Trump.
We cannot let this witch hunt continue. We need to stand with our duly elected President and let him know that he has our trust. Trump is the first president in a long time to put America first. He is no foreign agent.

Trump Makes Surprise Announcement About What Ted Cruz Did
Ever since he became a Trump supporter, Ted Cruz has been bringing talent to the table, and he just did it again.
Dennis Michael Lynch reported that in an attempt to make the Obamacare repeal and replace plan work, Ted Cruz has added an amendment to the bill allowing insurers to offer a larger variety of plans by limiting prescription or maternity benefits.
This option is called the “Consumer Freedom Option” and fulfills the long-held desires of low-risk men along with low risk and childless women, who don’t want to pay for the much higher costs of others.
Hopefully, this will allow the millions of Americans who don’t want Obamacare to buy this cheaper option instead.
The Department of Health & Human Services estimates that this will lower costs and result in more people voluntarily buying health insurance.
The HHS also estimated that Americans who sign up for Obamacare Silver plans would be paying $380 per month come 2024. That’s significantly down from the $845 they’ll pay if the Senate does nothing.
Overall, HHS estimates that individual enrollment in health insurance will go up to 16.1 million by 2024, not including Medicaid. Prices are thought to drop to an average of $240 per month.
This plan still keeps all who are insured in the same risk pool, which has reportedly lost the support of Senator Mike Lee (R-UT).
Insurance lobbies are complaining about Cruz’s amendment. They suggest it will cause more consumers to cancel their plans. Perhaps that’s so. It’s likely that many would want to cancel their plan and opt for a cheaper plan, but that’s not a negative from We the People’s perspective!
More choice in the insurance market is always a good thing. The one-size-fits-all approach of the Obama administration left many Americans over paying or opting out of health insurance entirely–especially those with little risk of becoming ill.
Insurance lobbies are just upset they no longer have a captive market.
They’ll have to get competitive. That’s just the way the free market works, and Obama should have never tried to limit it.
