The Gamaliel Foundation:

The Gamaliel Foundation is formed as religious groups that operated on Alinsky’s principles. Unlike Hillary, Barack Obama never met Saul Alinsky but as a young man he became a practitioner of Alinsky’s methods. In 1986 Obama was hired by Alinsky’s team to organize residents on the southside of Chicago that included the Gamaliel Foundation.
Obama became a Director of the Developing Communities Project, which is an affiliate of the foundation. A reporter who searched the Project sums it up in these words: “ The proposed solutions for every problem on the south side of Chicago was a distribution of government funds. For several years Obama taught workshops on the Alinsky method.
It is filled with chapter headings on “Understanding Power.” ----”Power Analysis” --- “Elements of Power” --- “Organization: The Path to Power:” --- Many new trainees have an aversion to Alinsky’s approach because they came to organize as idealists and not as realists. The Alinsky manual instructs them to get over these hang ups by stating: “We are not virtuous by not wanting power. (it actually says) “We are really cowards for not wanting power because power is good and powerless is evil!”
