Yellow Journalism

by Barney Byrne

The Intelligencer's Guest opinion of March 2nd, written by Andrew Mills of Lower Gwynedd, that had the HUGH headline, "By their fruits ye shall know them", shows from it's content, that indeed, you shall know the content of this writer's heart.

The article attacks President Trump and his advisor, Steve Bannon, as racist and anti-Semitic. It goes on to blather about unsubstantiated innuendo. One has only to look at the past and present deeds of President Trump, to see clearly that this article was a bunch of rubbish.

In the past Donald Trump had to sue the government, to enable him to open up his Mar a Lago resort to Jews and Blacks. He has befriended and helped financially many people of color over his lifetime. His Trump Corp. has many black persons in high positions of authority, as well as his campaign.

When was the last time you heard a politician say they were going to help the inner cities improve their lives and actually mean it? Well President Trump has said he is going to help the inner cities and is actually doing something about it.

As for being anti-Semitic, give me a break, his son-in-law and daughter are Jewish, as well as some grand children. Also, as attested to by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu , there is no stronger ally of Israel than the United States, under the leadership of President Donald Trump.

Little or no legitimate well researched news, but news that uses eye catching headlines was once know as "Yellow Journalism". Now it seems to be considered everyday news.
