When our founders established our Rights, they included unabated Freedom of the Press because they believed that an INFORMED public is the most important element in preserving this nation's future.

They also believed that the printed media, the only source of information at the time, would provide a factual representation of the occurrences of the day that were important to the citizenry to know. They RIGHTFULLY expected that unabashed and untainted honesty would be a hallmark of the press!

They mistakenly believed that Journalists would maintain a strict level of integrity in the interest of the public... you see Ruth, that is the way it is supposed to be! But those who share the values of Walter Cronkite and other honorable reporters are RARE today!

Today, journalists with character and honesty are often attacked because they share facts instead of biased fiction. They have the audacity to share the actual reality in our world! Wake up, Ruth! Truth HAS NO agenda!
