If it came down to Trump vs. Clinton, who would blacks vote for?

To hear the liberal punditry tell it, Donald Trump, in the unlikely event he cinched the Republican nomination for president, could never get elected because of the lousy turnout he would receive at the polls from minority voters. So toxic is Trump’s immigration policy that even Ben Carson, who himself is surging in the polls, voiced criticism of the plan to deport massive numbers of the illegal aliens currently residing in the U.S.

But let’s play a game of “what if?” Supposing Trump did win the GOP nomination and Hillary Clinton, who is still the Democratic frontrunner, won her party’s nomination. Who would blacks cast their lot with? The results of a recent poll reported by the American Mirror might surprise you:


For all the talk about Donald Trump allegedly driving minorities away from the Republican Party, could he actually bring people in?

A SurveyUSA poll released Friday shows in a hypothetical matchup with Hillary Clinton that Trump is ahead 45% to 40%.

But digging into the racial breakdown of the respondents is revealing. For example, the poll finds 25% of black respondents say they would vote for Trump over Clinton.

How impressive is that? Let’s look at the last several presidential results for Republicans.

One possible explanation for this is that blacks tend to be socially conservative. Many resent illegal aliens for usurping jobs that might otherwise be available to them.

Regardless of the explanation, if black voters support Trump in this magnitude it’s lights out for the Democrats. Continue Reading....Here
