My observation concerning the following quotation by Thomas Jefferson:

All, too, will bear in mind this sacred principle, that though the will of the majority is in all cases to prevail, that will to be rightful must be reasonable; that the minority possess their equal rights, which equal law must protect, and to violate would be oppression.

Thomas Jefferson

-My thoughts

I totally agree with the above statement by Jefferson in principle, meaning the importance of safeguarding the inalienable rights of the people against any and all forms of suppression and oppression.....However...I will go even farther then that...I say....Why must there be any level of constrictivism forced upon any within society?...By that I mean...The very essence or definition of minor or majority party is in affect a collective principle...Meaning the collective rights or interests of a specific group..Therefore I say...That...The inalienable rights and freedoms not of a minor or majority party...But rather that of the individual must be safeguarded and protected against the oppression, suppression and enslavement of collective rule...Effectively...The term party or group as I have pointed out Mr. Larson, makes reference to a collective group or body...And thus makes void the identity of the individual.
