Obama: Your in my house...

When will you be removed?

We say we like Masterpiece Theatre but we watch the Kardashians? Our TV programming will all look like the Kardashians. Now, why do our politicians all look like Obama, Hillary and Boehner?

America can’t be taken seriously. The world’s greatest power has degenerated into a TV sitcom with rogues like ISIS and China providing the laugh-track. Consultants serve our political parties the same way the Nielsen Media Research company assists the nation’s commercial television networks.
According to Howstuffworks.com, “Nielsen uses a technique called statistical sampling to rate the shows—the same technique that pollsters use to predict the outcome of elections.”

Television networks probe the popular imagination in search of commercially successful hits, just as political parties survey the lowest common denominators in the hunt for “winning issues.” If Big Brother or Survivor is a hit, you are guaranteed a dozen copies, all slavishly following the same formula.
You say you like Masterpiece Theatre but you watch the Kardashians, you get more of the Kardashians.
As on TV, so in politics.
So what happens when a political party decides to “fundamentally transform” the social and political attitudes of its people in service of its fringe constituencies?

“President Obama, release all LGBTQ immigrants from detention and stop all deportations,” shouted Jennicet Gutiérrez.
“Hold on,” said an obviously perturbed Obama, wagging his finger.
Gutiérrez added that it was impossible for him to celebrate LGBT Pride Month while 75 transgender illegal immigrants languish in the custody of ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement).
“Hey. Listen. You’re in my house,” said Obama. “You’re not going to get a good response from me by interrupting me like this. I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Shame on you, you shouldn’t be doing this.”
Obama then turned to one of his security minions, “Can we have this person removed, please?” Continue Reading>>>Here
