In the military there is a realistic assessment that there are always ten percent that never get the word. In a combat situation, that ten percent generally become casualties. Here in the civilian world the same principle applies but the percentage is far higher as we lack the cohesion and the chain of command that govern those who serve in uniform. Just scanning the information that is posted daily on my FB wall well indicates a serious problem, or perhaps I should say, a collection of serious problems. I ask none to follow all of the links that I will be posting below. Feel free to do so if something catches your eye, but my purpose is simply to indicate the information overload that Americans are daily being bombarded with. And the powers that be want that bombardment to continue, driving our people who seek the truth to abandon that search and run from it, seeking solace in ignorance, denial, and acceptance.
The following links are from the horrors Americans contend with on a daily basis. How well they deal with them and the long term effects of information overload is why I am writing this essay.
First off let us define 'Information Overload'. For that I look to Wikipedia:
Information overload (also known as infobesity or infoxication) refers to the difficulty a person can have understanding an issue and making decisions that can be caused by the presence of too much information. The term is popularized by Alvin Toffler in his bestselling 1970 book Future Shock, but is mentioned in a 1964 book by Bertram Gross, The Managing of Organizations. Speier et al. (1999) stated:
“Information overload occurs when the amount of input to a system exceeds its processing capacity. Decision makers have fairly limited cognitive processing capacity. Consequently, when information overload occurs, it is likely that a reduction in decision quality will occur.”
In regards to that collection of links that I promised you: Actually the list is dated, as I started this essay a few days ago and had to abandon it due to writing about the ObamaTrade crisis, and now we have been subjected to mass murder in South Carolina, and the political problems arising from it.
I considered discarding the original group of links and replacing them with more current events and then realized that this would be an effort in futility; point being that it matters not which three days we review, we are beset with unending crisis, and that is how the powers that be want it.
As Rahm Emanuel once said "Never let a good crisis go to waste." Never too much of a good thing, we are constantly beset by one crisis after another, and said crises are unending, and that is part of the plan, as everyone has their breaking point. How many have already broken? How many are on the verge of breaking? How many have simply given up, accepting their subservient lot in this, the Obama Nation? And there is no rest before us.

The above is a lot to have on anyone's plate and is but a small indication (Three days of news) of the major problems we face today. Many other bloggers and I have all expressed concern over the denial that is so widespread today and yet these three days of information overload is less than one percent of the horrors we will deal with this year.
To make matters still worse: The above links are all from reliable sources and most of our people are being misled by the MSM and their Progressive agenda, and so many are still addicted to sensationalist and hoax sites. This does not a pretty picture paint.
Americans, by and large, are a good people wishing harm to none and in return asking only to be treated fairly as they willingly help their fellow Americans and many of the unfortunate around the world, and therein lies the Catch 22. They are not being treated fairly. They are being lied to and abused by our political and religious leaders and foreign dignitaries as well, and taxed into oblivion by the elitists, the liars, and the traitors who have seized control of this once great nation. Such abuse is a drain on the mental facilities and the moral compass of anyone, and as such abuse continues unabated only the strong will survive.
Are you familiar with the term Cognitive Dissonance? If not, let us go to Wikipedia for a brief definition.
In psychology, cognitive dissonance is the mental stress or discomfort experienced by an individual who holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values at the same time, or is confronted by new information that conflicts with existing beliefs, ideas, or values.
Leon Festinger's theory of cognitive dissonance focuses on how humans strive for internal consistency. An individual who experiences inconsistency (dissonance) tends to become psychologically uncomfortable, and is motivated to try to reduce this dissonance—as well as actively avoid situations and information likely to increase it.
Cognitive Dissonance is part of the information overload that we must cope with. On any given issue political leaders will tell you one thing, which is largely echoed by the MSM. Fox News, somewhat more conservative than the MSM, will generally provide a different view. Dedicated conservative news and opinion internet sites will often provide a different and a more in depth viewpoint than all of the above, and our poor confused citizens must try to comprehend what the real truth is.
Then it is there, between the rock and the hard place, that so many finally give up, shake their head in confused disgust, reach for their remote, turn on a mindless sitcom, or 'Dancing With The Stars', and sink into a state of denial. I, somewhat less than complimentary of those who choose this escape from reality, have frequently applied the term 'craven' in past writings. Without a doubt cowardice is part of the picture for many, but how many other brave souls out there have simply reached the breaking point. I find no fault with those brave souls who have quite simply broken under the overload.
Years ago they were quite ready to engage. They felt that Obama was going to institute a gun grab, shut down the internet, implement the terms of Agenda 21, declare martial law, and bring UN troops to our shores. I wrote, warning them at that time, that they were premature in their assessment, telling all who would read my thoughts that Hussein would not act until late 2015 to early 2016, as he needed time to prepare, and time to wear down the resolve of Americans. Well, that time has passed and the dates that I predicted are upon us. Now the resolve of most has withered to a forlorn whimper, or a futile hope for victory in the 2016 election. George Soros and his Globalist allies, via Hussein Obama of course, are now prepared for the end game, and most Americans have grown too tired to fight.
Of today's liberals I feel only contempt, but of today's patriots who grow weary I must express nothing short of admiration even as they falter under the load. Allow me this if you will: We all hail the courage of the defenders of the Alamo, but their rendezvous with destiny was a short term adventure. How many would have been there on the final day had that siege lasted over six years, as has ours?
I am convinced that my readers are some of the best informed patriots on the internet and that they are well aware of the fact that the entire battle dates backs to Woodrow Wilson and began a century ago. Our more recent part of that struggle between good and evil actually began as a corrupt little community organizer stepped out of the back alleys of Chicago and took control of what was once the world's greatest nation.
When he spoke of Hope and Change, we knew he lied. When that smiling demigod stood between Styrofoam Dorian pillars and promised to heal all of the ills of the world we knew that the final days of America was upon us. We tried to warn them, to wake them up, and faced a dauntless task for they, the idiots of America, chose to follow the beckoning aspirations of Utopia, and abandoned reason and all real hope in the process.
Adolph Hitler has long been acknowledged to be the greatest orator of the twentieth century. Future historians may well bestow that title on Barrack Hussein Obama for the twenty first century. Other than oratory skills, both share a trait of a total lack of a moral code.
Just for kicks and giggles, let us do another, more current, three days of misadventures, as nothing has changed. Every single day we, the once free people of America, are being subjected to an unrelenting assault from those who have gained control not only of our lives, but the futures of our progeny: They are totally evil and we should have crushed them in the sixties when the ugly head of liberalism showed itself. We did not, and since then they they have gained total control and have become virtually unstoppable.

Sadly, after putting this group of links together, I could not help but notice that it is somewhat longer than a collection of three days of links from last week. Let us hope that this is not an indicator of future events.
How do I close and summarize such an essay? I have done nothing less that take you to the very gates of Hell and show you the evil that emanates from those who today lead us to those very gates.
They are totally in control and our feeble attempts to Vote em Out crashed on the rocks long ago. Americans are such a good people, always hoping to resolve a crisis with minimum bloodshed. Their goodness is about to be trampled underfoot and their aspirations will fall into and mix with the dust of history. Is that where America belongs; scattered echoes and memories blown among the shifting sand of time? Or should she be on a shining hilltop, a beacon of hope to all good men throughout the world?
Good intentions and the Golden Rule have shown themselves to be weak before the forces of evil. Therein lies our challenge ... Are you, with good intentions, and a belief in the sanctity of the Golden Rule, willing to shed life's blood to enforce such noble attributes? Or are you, in your own pursuits, willing to turn your back on honor and simply complain that you are losing your rights to live as you wish at someone else expense and efforts?
Great nations were built on the gravestones of great men. Great nations have fallen because great men became too few to count. The future is ours to shape. What will you contribute, and what will you take from it?
As Kennedy said, "Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country."
