BETH AND WANDA SISTERS

A PARTING PSALM.........  by Robby Bowling

From the beginning of this journey We stood in the wonder of it all We sought the fountain of knowledge Quietly waiting for our call To live a life takes courage While understanding brings us calm While our paths may vary the goal is not Live every moment like a psalm Blindly we embraced all our trials Fearing not the lighted path The seed of love, the gift of life Will never perish in the past Our tomorrow's can be bittersweet But life's garden will go on Like the emotions of a midnight ride The path is true & you're not alone We will remember our little Angel Who now has wings & learns to fly We rejoice the life you gave But our hearts still want to cry So find your peace in your garden There will be bounty from your love Your God has come to take you To your home heaven above This Parting Psalm I offer now This Parting Psalm is you This Parting Psalm will resound forevermore As all our love now goes with you

Life's a gift from our fathers It's nurtured by a mother's love And as the children come to understand A sister is the gift from the one above The heart will forever bind us The blood runs deep in our veins No shadow can be cast to take away The courage, the life, the reign We have the blue skies we call our heavens And so does the Sun bring us morn There is so much that lies between us And sometimes the heart seems so torn Only God can know the reasons It’s like the dawning of a tide How just one life can tell a story When there’s nothing left to hide We carry loss like a fire The torch burns late at night Sometimes the loss is for the better Rest now sweet soul as God makes it right We nurtured this gift we call family Always taking the highest road Always being there for each other And it always helped us with the load. We played; we laughed & cried as one We could tell when the heart sighed And all the while we had questions We didn’t really worry about the whys Together we saw the darkness Yet we both chose the light But the river of life is still flowing Through our hearts every night There can never be a memory that can hold the candle true the life, the gift we will carry on In these thoughts I give to you The Sister, the Mother & the Daughter live And the Spirit will carry on We will follow you as you now find your way In heaven where you belong this is not goodbye
