When we give all to God
we're filled with hope,
Believing that He'll
give us what we need
To live abundantly and
not just cope,
And when we live for
God, the Holy Ghost
Directs our every step along
the way.
Then through the march
of life, from post to post,
Our hope may then
abound until that day
When we approach that
final mortal breath,
Such peace and joy will
fill our hopeful soul.
Anticipation swells
when facing death,
For there the life
beyond is real and whole.
The hope you need to make it through the night
Is soon replaced with love when day shines bright.
