Oklahoma Plans To Put Into Law The Banning Of Anyone In It’s State Wearing THIS Clothing Item
It’s unbelievable how much this single item of clothing has recently had an impact on society and it’s not necessarily a good impact. Now this state is trying to ban it completely.
I was shocked when I heard that Oklahoma was attempting to mandate a fine of $500 for wearing this item of clothing in public.
Oklahoma already has a law in place that dates all the way back to the 1920’s that makes it illegal to wear a hood during a crime and now the state wants to ban hoodies from being worn while doing anything in public.
Senator Dan Barrington constructed the proposed amendment, “The intent of Senate Bill 13 is to make businesses and public places safer by ensuring that people cannot conceal their identities for the purpose of crime or harassment….Similar language has been in Oklahoma statutes for decades and numerous other states have similar laws in place. Oklahoma businesses want state leaders to be responsive to their safety concerns, and this is one way we can provide protection.”
While some people strongly support the bill because it intends to make Oklahoma a safer place, there are of course many who are strongly opposed to the bill. If this bill is passed, there will surely be dozens and dozens of lawsuits to follow.
Family Dollar stores in St. Louis just enacted a similar rule in their stores and now are being targeted by liberals who are name calling Family Dollar and accusing the stores of racism.
