Try Showing a Little Class’ Facebook Post Aimed at Obama Daughters


When President Barack Obama reprised the annual turkey pardon at the White House on Wednesday, his teen daughters Sasha and Malia accompanied him — and by the looks of a number of photos, not likely in a completely willing manner.

So a Republican congressional staffer took to Facebook to offer the first daughters a few tips on ceremonial dress and decorum: In short, wrote Elizabeth Lauten, communications director for Rep. Stephen Fincher (R-Tenn.), “try showing a little class.”

“At least respect the part you play,” her note read. “Then again your mother and father don’t respect their positions very much or the nation for that matter, so I’m guessing you’re coming up a little short in the ‘good role model’ department.”

Lauten also took issue with the girls’ dress choices, opining that their attire would be more appropriate at a bar. And for goodness sake, “certainly don’t make faces during televised, public events,” Lauten added. Continue Reading...HERE
