Congressman Accuses Barack H. Obama of Treason on the House Floor
Sometimes the full impact of what people say can only be known well after the words have been all but forgotten.
Such would seem to be the case with the words of Rep. Louie Gohmert, who predicted over three years ago from the House floor that the Muslim Brotherhood would take over Egypt and that Islamists would soon be engaged in an active effort to establish the caliphate, or theocratic Islamic state, throughout the world.
Gohmert wondered then if the president, when he made his well-documented gaffe saying that he had visited “all 57 states,” was unintentionally alluding to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, an international body composed of 57 Islamic states.
“Perhaps there was some confusion whether he’d been to all 57 Islamic states as opposed to all 50 U.S. states,” Gohmert said during his remarks.
More concerning than his verbal gaffe, the Texas Republican said, was Obama’s obvious support for terrorist organizations like the Muslim Brotherhood, which dreams of nothing less than the implementation of Shariah law in the United States.
