‘We’re Swimming in a Cesspool of Politically Correct Crap’

(CNSNews.com) – Duck Dynastypatriarch Phil Robertson said the news media will not even mention the name “Jesus Christ” in a straightforward or even reverential way because they are so politically correct it precludes them from referencing God, and as a result America is “swimming in a cesspool of politically correct crap.”

Robertson made his remarks during a sermon about political correctness and Christian morality at the White’s Ferry Road Church in West Monroe, La., as part of Duck Commander Mission Sunday on Sept. 14.

“When’s the last time you heard someone in the news media say with a straight voice and any kind of adoration, ‘Jesus Christ, Jesus,’” said Robertson. “They won’t even mention His name. We are swimming in a cesspool of politically correct crap.”

Phil Robertson is an elder at the church, along with his oldest son Alan Robertson. The entire Duck Dynasty clan attend church services and Bible study at the White’s Ferry Road Church.
