You Are My King

You are my King, O Jesus Christ, my Lord!

I bow to You and pledge my very life,

The very life that You in me restored,

And now I serve You in this world of strife.

The battle for the souls of Adam's sons

Is raging here upon this sinful sphere,

And faithfully I fight for Your loved ones;

With You as King I've nothing here to fear.

The Kingdom that You rule is Heaven now,

But when You come again this will be Yours,

Reclaiming all when ev'ry knee shall bow;

There'll be no weeping then and no more wars.

            O Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords

            Use me, O Christ, I'm Yours forever more!
